Cool!! I remember some of those kits from the catalogs, and had a few of them, so it looks like a good resource. They have the Rat Blaster, you have one of those!by Radio Animal - The Workshop
I heard something too, pop music with older recurrents, and an odd looking signal on the Kiwi display, a carrier, but only with the spikes from the lower sidebands on it, nothing above, never saw a signal like that before. I could hear it in AM, and when it faded up, in FM too, less distorted. Another thing is the TIS at 1710, I haven't been hearing them at all, and I heard they had authorityby Radio Animal - Medium Wave Logs
I think I've heard them, DX but in there, and it's distinctive with the music, and that they have a kind of muffled sound, not crisp. The spectrum display shows the more narrow audio as well, they don't fill up the allotted 10 khz on each side. You know what I thought? It was a station using a Comrex on the phone, remember those? Pretty good article. I've heard talk about efforts to clean up the spectrum, I never hear of anything actually being done however. I guess there are too many products to police, and I could see how that would be, where a store like an Ollies or Dollar General makes a one-time buy of small electronics, and sells them out, and never gets the same thing again. Once I got a good FM radio, I'd wait for that 'crazy' DX to come in, quite a surprise when I heard a French Canadian station, and Atlanta from the northeast, I thought something had happened to my radio and it had gotten way more sensitive. I like how Forza looks, and I think it's just for use in 'The Cloud', for the new way radio is being done today, remotely. Forza would probably run on a separate server at the transmitter and the producer's audio would stream through it to be processed, and you could see the settings of the processor on your screen back at the station or at home through a browser window, that seems to be how it'sby Radio Animal - The Workshop
