Huh... I've posted the same post on The HFU, and then got my 1st -2 Karma for it. Interesting. (O.F.W...) I too don't like where consolidated commercial radio, and even the 'so-called' non-profit, radio has gone over the last 40-some years. And, I have my own opinions upon how the HDTV revolution was rolled out. (Case in point, many deep fringe, rural areas, no longer can watch off-air TV at all.) But, that's another bitch subject. However, as I have reposted over there, my bitch is more, or less, an observation, really. The digital thing isn't going away, I get that. But, looking at the 1st century of broadcasting, a TRF radio from 1920 can tune an analog AM station today. Can we say that in the year 2120? I sincerely doubt that.
