This is Scott Bailey. I am the owner/general manager of WMRO, Magic 1560 in Gallatin, TN. I am also a DX'er of the AM Band. Would love to talk with you, see what time you picked up WMRO and where you are at.

My Dad & I started WMRO here in Gallatin in October of 1993, but we didn't get it on the air until February of 1994 because at the time I was working for Metro Nashville Government and this area got hit with a bad ice storm. I had to work my "real job" for a week and put in overtime.

Today, I am retired from working for Metro Nashville Government and all I do is just run the radio station, collect old broadcast equipment and I am a "AM Activist". Oh, I know some of the owner and general managers with stations on 1560, located on the east side of the Mississippi.
