Re: 1560 WQEW off the air

Hummm, Were is everybody at? I was curious if anybody has picked up WBOL-AM 1560 in Bolivar, TN? State Rep. Johnny Shaw, his wife, and his son own it. I know Johnny's son, Tracy. They just changed the format back to R&B Oldies. They are great people! I had WMRO off on a early evening at sunset and WBOL's 250 Watt Signal was coming in! I've got to make a trip down to visit Tracy and see the transmitter site.

I have to drive past Knoxville, TN on I-40 before WFME (was WQEW) skywave starts to come in. For some reason, they don't make it into the Middle Tennessee Area at night. Must be the directional pattern.
