So far I've managed to ID: WKDO and WKIK "real country" in MD.
Correction (later): My error. WKIK is "
Today's Country".
Also had an unID ultra-conservative talk station, and a gospel music station that doesn't ID on the hour. They mentioned a Baptist church but I couldn't get the entire name. Later: Turned out to be WSBV, in South Boston, VA. They have an unusual sign-off: First they play the vocal "Star Spangled Banner", then the lady reads the sign-off info.
And I managed to get IDs from WCNW and WTNS, both in Ohio.
But it's still early...
Hope WQEW stays off for a long time!
So, who's the talker on 1560? My slightly outdated NRC log only lists Bakersfield, CA, and a small station in Missouri as talk. Both are quite unlikely here at the time.
America needs a sense of humor...
