** Camel Back Radio/Mount Radio/Zeeky

8/6, 2344-0030, 6925usb. Another of Zeeky's manifestations. How does he function with all these rattling around in his head? Music, chatter, chatter about Dick Weed, and chatter about Vermont. Ruminates on Mrs. Robinson. (45444, Hunsicker, PA)

8/6, 2345, 6925usb. On Barrington Hills IL sdr, fair sig S7 to S9, soft pop ballad playing, at 0008utc C&W tune playing, at 0015 "sound of silence", at 0042 Donovan "rock upon my garden". (Hassig-IL)

8/6, 2353, 6925usb. Pirate DJ talking about a nest? S5-S6 vs noise level. Many logs here as Camelback Radio about Vermont, not Arizona; a Zekey station: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

8/7, 0012-0014, 6925usb. Played the 1964 version of Simon and Garfunkel Sounds of Silence. Good Signal (3 stations were on at the same time) (Majewski CT)

8/7, 2309, 6925usb. Camelback Radio, on Normal IL sdr, fair signal S7 with S9 peaks, talk then old pop tune from late 1960's, talk at 2319 with distorted audio then women singing about mother nature, at 2334 sounds like a song by Bob Dylan, DJ talking then at 2339 Roy Orbison "pretty woman" with audience applause. (Hassig-IL)

8/7, 2331-0015, 6925usb. 2331-0015* Nice music from Zeeky. (45454, Hunsicker, PA)

8/8, 0001-0010+, 6925usb. Motown then Marty Robbins’ Ghost Train; Zeeky chatter. SIO=3+54 (Frodge-MI)

** Fox News Relay

8/10, 1630, 6970usb. Animated political talk, utility QRM. Fair to good. (Will-WV)

8/11, 1440, 6970am. Fox News Relay, commercials, QRM from nearby beepbuzzer. 6970 audio very wide, audible from 6965 to 6975. Very good signal, 20-30 dBu. (Will-WV)

** Kind Radio

8/9, 0009-0112, 6931usb. Playing a lot of Indie Folk songs, at 0009 ID as "My name is Kind Radio". Dead air in between songs. Nice music, all which were new to me. Nice Show. Fair/Good Signal (Majewski CT)

8/9, 0024, 6931usb. Mostly soft songs with long pauses, 0025 resuming S5 to spixe of S7-S8. Occasional quick announcements, unreadable; 0053 soft ballad; 0057 upbeat bluegrass; 0100 another pause but no ID, then as in [www.hfunderground.com] ``House of the rising Sun - The White Buffalo with Forest Rangers`` from KIND (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Mix Radio International

8/7, 0017-0020, 6960usb. Instrumental music with an ID (0019) Fair Signal (Majewski CT)

8/7, 0148, 6860usb.Mellow electronic jazz, 0151 ID mellow instrumental, ID sequence into more mellow electronic music. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

8/9, 0116, 6860usb. Rock music at S9/+10; 0120 electronic. These pirates competing with Olympix closing ceremony as delayed on NBC TV. It is Mix Radio International: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Nowhere Radio

8/9, 0118, 6974.9am. JBA music, presumed Nowhere Radio. I am still suffering from high local line noise level on LW thru MW thru most SW bands (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Outhouse Radio

8/7, 0044, 6930usb. On Barrington Hills IL sdr, fair S7 signal, song: "all right now", at 0051 SSTV/FAX then more pop/rock, at 0104 SSTV/FAX followed by heavy metal tune "ace of spades". (Hassig-IL)

8/7, 0128, 6930usb. Hard rock, SSTV (late start here with “Outhouse Radio” at bottom,) back to hard rock, 0142 Outhouse talks some giving an ID at the end, electric blues, Easypal send (didn’t have it on), off. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

** Radio Free Whatever

8/6, 2347, 6980usb. On the Barrington Hills IL sdr, fair signal S9+, heavy metal tune playing, DJ=Dick Weed. (Hassig-IL)

8/6, 2350, 6980usb. At 2350 giving out a 302-area code phone number; first thought it was a MARS net, but then for call-ins to R. Free Vatever; DJ muses about forbidden Dungeons & Dragons and plays such music. I did not copy the full phone number and no one else reports it either. We may assume that 302 = Delaware is not a clue to RFV real QTH. S6-S7 vs noise level. Many more logs: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

8/7, 0004-0020, 6980am. Nice long show of good music, at 0005 identified with German accent, Radio Free Wat De Var (having a bit of fun). Gave a shout out to the posters on the HF Underground Web site, Most of the music was Indie songs. I did not know them, but, good listening. Good/Excellent Signal (Majewski CT)

8/7, 0115, 6980am. DJ Dickweed with talk ending with an ID into Indie rock, canned ID, more similar rock and a program of similar music, talk, ID’s. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

** Radio Genix (see also Unid 6950usb)

8/6, 2100-2230, 6950usb. ID at 2114. Easy-going music (35443, Hunsicker, PA)

8/7, 2334-0011, 6950usb. As prop changed, Genix went from a great signal at 2334 to garbage in 11 minutes and "unusable" in three more. Older rock. (Hunsicker, PA)

8/8, 1942-1959, 6950usb. House of the Rising Sun, Radio Gaga, others. (25342, Hunsicker, PA)

** Unid

8/6, 2040-2058, 6925usb/am. Music. Waterfall showed a spike consistent with an AM carrier but with only an upper sideband. A OM's gravely voice which I took to be the announcer, but didn't hear an ID. (35343, Hunsicker, PA)

8/8, 0003, 6950usb. Two stations were on same frequency, heard "Some always watching me" song "Like Animals". Poor/Fair Signal (Majewski CT)

8/8, 0259-0300+, 6935usb. Weird music at tune=in & off before 0301 w/o ID. SIO=2+53 (Frodge-MI)

8/8, 0631-0701, 6935usb. (and likely 1200-1201, too) Low strength and noise did the broadcast no good. Bouncy music. Never heard anything I thought might be an ID. (25342, Hunsicker, PA)

** WLR Wasteland Radio

8/7, 0311-0411, 6925usb. I left the Elad and MMSSTV running when I went to bed and found five SSTV images the next morning. Conditions were not great and the images were pretty rough. Images at 0343 and 0400 contained IDs. (Hunsicker, PA)

On Normal IL sdr, fair signal S9 to 10 over S9, hear woman singing old blues tune with piano, various other tunes with the word "morning" in them, at 0016 black swing tune "morning noon and night", song: "good morning little school girl", Wolverine ID, song: "early in the morning", severe utility interference for a minute at 0023utc, at 0026 Joni Mitchell "Chelsea morning", at 0035utc Normal IL sdr down to S9 but Barrington Hills IL sdr up to 10 over S9, at 0044utc echo ID then SSTV/FAX, thanks for the nice program, Wolverine. After SSTV/FAX more pop tunes with the theme of "happy birthday", Wolverine ID, song: "happy birthday sweet sixteen", at 0111utc echo ID then another SSTV/FAX, thanks for the additional tunes. (Hassig-IL)

8/8, 0014-0022+, 6980usb. Tunes with “morning” in the title or lyric. Spoken ID @0021:25. SIO=3+54 (Frodge-MI)

** WTF Radio Worldwide

8/8, 0111, 6980usb. Came on 6980usb after Wolverine signed off and WTF Radio Worldwide came on freq, fair/poor with S9 peaks on both Normal IL and Barrington Hills IL sdr's. (Hassig-IL)

** XFM

8/8, 0301-0305+, 6285am. Ancr talking about a trip & watching TV into cool music; XFMshortwave@gmail.com for requests SIO=3+53+ (Frodge-MI)

Fair to good. (Taylor – WI)

** YHWH

8/12, 1540, 11840am. In progress at tune-in, the usual monologue, Josiah and the anti-Christian lecture. A false sign-off at 1548, playing of Days of Hard life, but then kept on going. Post-1600, Old Testament stuff, Ten Commandments, etc. At 1633, operator Josiah repeated the "cease operation" would be after DoHL, one more closing ann, then hit the red-X button at 1638. Fair to Good on peaks; long deep fades. (Barton-AZ)

8/12, 1550, 11840am. Station YHWH with ``tonight`s lexure``, anti-Christ. Tnx to tip from Rick Barton, AZ a few minutes ago on the WOR iog. As usual, AZ remote hardly hears it nor the other I check in MO; but sufficient S8-S9 at #3 of VE6JY Alberta. That should tell us something about skip distance from true whatever QTH. Left on in background noting cutoff about 1638*. He`s usually reported midday on Saturday, but also other days? 25m band
seems his favorite then, a different frequency each time (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

8/13, 1505, 9630am. In progress at tune-in, the usual material At 1520 was talking of connection to Christian religion and Pagan ritual, Days of Hard Life song, final ann, & off at 1528 – Fair to Good on peaks; long deep fades. (Barton-AZ)
