Also fair to good into WNY with conspiracy ranting. Mentions of death camps, rapes, etc. QSL appreciated. Over constant machine-sounding noise that's been there all evening.

Very weak signal - needed preamp 2 on the R75 to make out anything - with vocal music and occasional M talking; might have heard an ID at 1151 UTC, but unclear. Still in at 1213 but no longer audible by 1222. If R Totse, a QSL would be much appreciated!

Came on with good signal - S5 to S7 - but sounded overmodulated/distorted. Best of the first seven years program, different from last night. Still going strong at 1230 UTC.

At end of show went right into Partial Idiot... errr, India Radio which ended at 0006UTC, 09/01/13. Signal held up with minimal change.

Spacey "new age" music with occasional busts of high speed CW (well, faster than I can copy it). Following the CW there was SSTV before xmtr shut-down at 0022 UTC. Decent signal, well above my local noise level, and very good modulation. ID and QSL appreciated!

In again at the moment (2157 UTC, 30 Aug) but quite weak and fading. Was kinda surprised to hear it...

It's in there again today (08/24) but barely peaking above my low local noise level. It comes and goes.
I've heard it much better and for much longer periods back in the Spring.

Came on with Booming (pun intended) signal with house/dance/techno music, but signal dropped down for most of the xmsn. Frequent IDs. At least I could make them out this time! ;) Unfortumately, did not note the time they came on. 1408 gave repeated gmail addy in a familiar-sounding voice, then went off.

I've heard this thing off-and-on for months now, and it just popped in again this afternoon for a few minutes, quite weakly. It sounds like a rapid "chirp" or "tick". It'll be in there for hours at a time over several days, then disappear for a few weeks before it reappears.
The only thing I can think of is a simple propagation beacon. But I haven't found any info on it, so

I've caught them a couple times now - Sunday mornings ET - with consistently weak sigs just above or even with my local noise floor. That'd be *really* good for the claimed 100 watts!
The thing I've noticed is that the signal seems steady, with very little fading when audible, and what fading there is is deep and long. That would support a NZ location in my mind.
Now if I could only get som

I haddum at 6932AM to about 0045*. Somgs and comedy about bacon, even a documentary on how bacon was made. Never quite got a clear ID here although the signal was good; too much T-storm QRN. Interesting program - didn't know how bacon was made. QSL appreciated.

From what I read elsewhere, that NYC station (Radio Celestial) was recently sent a NoUO by the FCC. It's unknown (to me) whether they're still on the air at this time. I'll probably find out in the Autumn, when MWDX picks up again.
BTW: There is a TIS in Delaware on 1710.

Very weak signal with unIDable music just barely audible. Possibly Radio Totse from New Zealand, per other reports. A few minutes after I lost the signal or they went off Radio Gaga came on (about 1150 UTC) with a better signal. 100 watts! Wow...

Tuned in to hear YL reading off schedule in EE to 1945, then gap in xmsn and back about 1946 in other language. Pretty good signal (S5 to S7) for the time of day.

Nobody asked me, but...
IMHO: The Radio Paranoia blog would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic. In essence, RP is immature because they began with an erroneous conclusion and then tried to fill in the blanks, which simply doesn't work. I've read RP a few times, but the inuendo and unsupported accusations became too much, and there's no factual basis to their arguements, so I don't bother an

Came on right after Be-Bop Radio went off. Something about a bumper sticker, into "Driving While Blind". Signals not great this morning - this one just just above my local noise level but not really strong.
ID at 1157UTC as Radio GaGa. Off 1216UTC.

Radio New Zealand Int'l heard on 9700 to the Pacific the last few days from 1100 UTC to abrupt switch-off at 1258. Lots of regional news and music (Thursday it was Pacific reggae!). Signal much weaker than Australia on 9580.

Voice of Iran on 11750 kHz in English to Europe rather good with news from 1930UTC, still giving news at 1946. I hear them a lot in other languages (mostly when I'm looking for something else) but this is the first time I've heard 'em in EE. Signal bouncing from S5 to S9 in WNY.

I bought a copy of Steve Handler's "World Radio Communications Guide" way back in 1979; it was a utility station guide and listed a bunch of stuff that no other list had.
He has some current publications out, including a book on FAX stations and an in-depth review of China's "Firedrake" xmsns.

Came on battling it out with a pestadore who had been rambling on for quite a while. I finally got an ID from RML about 0133 UTC just before Neil (one note) Young's "Horse with no name".
Strange conditions tonight...
