BBCWS - 6925AM, 01/31, 1250+

Tuned in to hear a woman talking in Brit-accented English. Time pips at 1300Z, then ID as BBC World Service and into the (current!) news - maybe from a webfeed somewhere? Signal peaking around S5 into WNY.

Maybe "This Is Not the BBC"? Or has the BBC decided to use 6925 now?

Still audible, but weaker, at 1520Z. Most of the time between 1300 and 1500 was an exhaustive, in-depth documentary on the "black lives matter" movement (which ignores the facts that ALL lives matter and that blacks are not the only ones murdered by police).

Still going with some sort of sporting event (fussball? cricket?) at 1715.

Checked at short-wave.info and there's nothing listed as using 6925, so gotta be a pirate. Seems kinda pointless...

America needs a sense of humor...
