Thanks for all the info! I had not checked out Spyserver but saw other DXers talking about it and guessed it must be to network the SDR. I was using the Pi 2 with an RTL dongle with OpenWebRX, and it didn't run well, not enough oomph in the Pi2, but I got a taste for the possibilities of what a networked radio could do and how to set it up.

When I got the Kiwi, oh boy, it made me feel like I was 15 and discovering radio monitoring for the first time, probably the best electronic product I've gotten in years. It has the best reception I've ever had, and if you transmit.. like on Part-15 or ham, you can see aspects of your signal on the waterfall and spectrum analyzer, it's like putting glasses on.
