I think one reason they turn off C-QUAM is that it sux! Noone likes the platform motion, even the owners. Besides, most AM stations are talk or sports - and who needs stereo for that?

The one to use is Kahn, which is actually true stereo (ISB).

PS: I sure hope you meant boost...

America needs a sense of humor...
