Radio Genix

6935 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Radio Genix, 2312, 1.23.22. Rock guitar fading in and out. A 40-watt test per HF Underground.

Clever Name Radio

6920/U, 2203-2208+, 1/27; Bulesy rock tune at tune-in; 2207+ Female, lady woman “Good evening, welcome to Clever Name Radio” into more rock. SIO=353+ (Frodge-MI)

6920USB 22 Jan 2022 2045--2056 Walk This Way, some hard rock, and then some Rap. (35353, Hunsicker, PA)

6920USB 27 Jan 2022 2229-2248 IDs by an YL. Blues, some rock, and them some hard rock. (45444, Hunsicker, PA

Radio Olah

6929.96/U, 1954-2001*, 1/22; Music just over QRN. Op talk @2000, but no copy. ID per cosmikdebris post on the Free Radio Net. At least the op has a microphone & knows what
it is for! (Frodge-MI

6920 USB / JAN 27 / 2248-2302*. Fair signal under noisy conditions. Music by Jethro Tull and Led Zeppelin. Female ID at 2302 into s/off. (Sedlacek-NE)

WEZL

6925usb, 1-21-22/1-22-22, 2256utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, fair S7 to S9 signal, some rapid selective fading which looks funny on waterfall, hear dramatic orchestral music followed by electronic music of various types, SSTV/FAX at 2327utc, Morse code then SSTV/FAX at 2329utc, at 0005utc Westminster chimes then chimed twelve (? I lost count) at 0007 SSTV/FAX and again at 0009 then Morse code at 0011 then off. (Hassig-IL)

6925 USB / JAN 21-22 / 2245-0006+. Extended broadcast with some breaks in between. Several SSTVs. Live concert music piece, smooth jazz followed by electronic space music by Tangerine Dream and another group. Good signal. (Sedlacek-NE)

6925USB 21 Jan 2022 2256-0008 Soft Jazz. I left walked away and came back later to find two SSTV images. Once sent at 0006 (an ID) and a second at 0008. (45454, Hunsicker, PA)

6925-USB, Jan 24 at 2257, pirate music S8-S9, ``trance``? At first I thought it was AM, but the temporary ``carrier`` must have been some drone in the music. I bet it`s not RCW, Chile, allegedly active around this daypart on this band part. However, switching to LSB, I can hear some weak talk mixing with remnants of the music beat. Off at 2306? No, just a pause, more music. I`m in and out checking other stuff and never catch a voice announcement, but 2312 SSTV beepery, a quick CW message my brain doesn`t switch gear into in time, but it starts with WE---; more SSTV to 2314.6*; *2315 songs, 2327 chopped and then another. Not recheck
until 2347 on other receiver and now it seems really off. These confirm its WEZL and with an intriguing high-quality image: [www.hfunderground.com] presumably unrelated to the licensed WEZL, 100 kW on 103.5 FM in Charleston SC since 1971y. So much for pirates avoiding real call signs (Glenn Hauser, OK,)

Outhouse Radio

6933 USB, Jan 22 at 2253, S9/+23 but distorted, over modulated playing ``Wheels``; 2254.7 SSTV beepery; 2256.6 no announcement, Surfin` tune; 2258.7 another SSTV already; 2300.6 another Surfin` song; 2302.7 ``Wipeout``, still distorted. If you are really out on the waves, you certainly are not listening to any music so how is this a subgenre all its own? Tune away briefly, then 2308 recheck it`s off. If there were ever any ID, sign-off announcement, I missed it, but am confident there will be HFU reports: [www.hfunderground.com] Outhouse Radio since 2204, with noisy images (Glenn Hauser, OK,)

Wasteland Radio

6955usb, 1-23-22, 2325utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, fair/poor S5 to S7 signal, hear what sounds like electronic music with male singing. (Hassig-IL)

6955 USB / JAN 23 / 2130-2140+. Music I could not easily ID. Numerous SSTVs. Tough copy. (Sedlacek-NE)

Goat Herder Radio/Zeeky

6925 LSB / JAN 22 / 2303-2325+. Soft rock with music by Coldplay and cover of "Sounds of Silence." Zeeky doing DJ work. Some technical issues but overall decent signal. (Sedlacek-NE)

6925 AM, Jan 22 at 2308, rock at S8-S9, 2309 English talk with background noise, ``-- Dog? Radio``, ``if you don`t like it, tune your radio to a different frequency``. Hmmm, hadn`t thought of that. Bet it`s not RCW Chile, a prime time for it nor on 7610. These say it`s Goatherder Radio, a Zekey station: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK,)

UNIDS

6925/U, 1953, 1/22; Music at QRN level (Frodge-MI)

6950/AM, 2041-2045+, 1/23; Music at/below QRN; 2043 Mungo Jerry’s In the Summertime. (Frodge-MI)

6955/U, 2124-2130+, 1/13; another pop music pirate. SIO=353+ (Frodge-MI)

6925/U, 2243-2305+, 1/24; Electro music; 2251:30 & 2304:25 near impossible to copy KIPMish cmtry o/music, but not Allen Maxwell. SIO=3+54+ (Frodge-MI)

6920/U, 2209-2211:25*, 1/25; Rock tune & off. SIO=3+53 (Frodge-MI)

6925 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) UnIdentified, 2207, 1.23.22. Blues, man hawking a guitar, some more guitar music, SSTV (indistinct maybe a face mask and tree?), mellow guitar, scatted (more like screamed) with instruments joining, short percussion set, SSTV (forest), "Sweet Home Alabama," "The boys are back in town" - Thin Lizzy, "Aqualung" - Jethro Tull, SSTV (figure w/ waves), "The spirit of radio" - Rush, another song, SSTV (Bear with jeans?), "Devil's Answer" - Atomic Rooster, UnID song, SSTV (not clear enough to tell), "Renegade" - Styx, SSTV (can't tell ... writing on bottom - prob. ID) ... off 2330. Music was fair to good. SSTV was poor.

6925 USB / JAN 22 / 1930-1953+. Male singer. Song "Bang, Bang, Bang." Weak signal. (Sedlacek-NE)

6955 USB / 2330. Man speaking but sounded garbled; difficult to copy. (Sedlacek-NE)

6920AM 26 Jan 2022 2314-2319 A male vocal that was very faint and unusable. (About 20 dB over the noise, Hunsicker, PA)

6920.0 AM, Jan 16 at 0714, S6-S8 rock music with heavy bass. Extremely unusual for an N American pirate to be on so late; and I had not heard any on this band during `prime` Saturday evening time. No reports in HF Underground, except this unrelated? 7 hours later on 6920.6 with various IDs including Partial India Radio, Pirate Radio Boston, Captain Ganja, Radio Free Euphoria: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK,)``

1710, Jan 26 at 0713 UT, JBA music, presumably an N American pirate - hit here at end of a 9-kHz MW carrier search (GlennHauser, OK,)
