Wolverine Radio, 6960 then 4015usb, 12-25-21, Came on with "testing 1 2 3 can anybody hear me?" on Barrington Hills IL sdr, said moving to 4015, at 0102utc heard "testing 1 2 3 can anybody hear me?" on 4015 then Wolverine ID then swing tune about Santa. At 0147utc switched to Brookfield WI sdr with slightly better reception, wide variety of xmas tunes, thanks for the show. at 0202utc echo ID then SSTV/FAX. (Hassig-IL)

4185usb, 12-24-21, 2336utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, noisy S3 to S5 signal, hear DJ = Dick Weed make announcement then a pop/rock tune I can't ID, tried several other Illinois sdr's but they are much worse. (Hassig-IL)

Two Dog Radio

6950usb, 12-25-21, 0025utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, heard weak guitar Christmas music under S5 noise level, DJ made announcement that I couldn't hear then off. Came back on a few min later at S7 level, hear song "mama told me not to come", at 0056 2 dog radio ID then Moody Blues "ride my see saw". (Hassig-IL)

6950 USB 2 Dog Radio, 0105, 12.27.21. Listening since 0028 to rock music just above the static floor, came up at 0105 with guitar, 0110 ID, then dropped off again. (Taylor - WI)

6955 USB 2 Dog Radio, 0043, 12.29.21. SSTV (did not have the decoder on, others had a dog’s head with “2 Dog Radio”) into a program of rock music with occasional ID’s. Poor. (Taylor - WI)

WDDR

4015 USB WDDR, 0205, 1.1.22. I was in and out doing other things for the first part. 0222 - “Hard rain gonna fall” (good cover), “Midnight Rider” – Allman Brothers, Drunken DJ talking about how his drinking was going, the music, folks who logged on HF Underground and gave an ID the into “Happy” – Rolling Stones, DDJ talking more about being happy, folks who logged, etc. Following his usual New Year’s Eve format of playing music while getting more drunk as the evening goes on with talk and sending SSTV sends of a themed picture of someone who logged on HFU and e.g. “Radio Star Radio.” Went on a good deal more drunkenly after I pulled the plug at 0300 according to HFU logs. 4055: WDDR Drunk DJ Radio at 0220 w/Allman Brothers Midnight Rider, followed by Rolling Stones. Excellent signal in LSB. SSTV at 0231. Joe Walsh at 0241. ID at 0248. (Cameron-MI)

4030 AM Ballsmacker Radio, 0202, 1.1.22. “I’ve got a pair of roller skates, you got a brand new key”, “New Attitude”, ID into more songs and ID is including some offering an e-qsl. Fair to good. (Taylor - WI)

4030 USB WTF Radio Worldwide 0107, 1.2.22. "867-5390 / Jenny" - Timmy Tutone, ID, "Nadine" - Chuck Berry, "Surfin' U.S.A. - Beach Boys, chaotic ID, 0121 pause. Back 0123 Danke shoen" - Wayne Newton, Deutsche Welle IS w/ EE opening, "A swinging safari" Burt Kaempfert & his orchestra, Station jingle, off 0130. Fair to good. (Taylor - WI)

6925 USB WDOG, 2038, 1.1.22. "Ticket to ride" - Beatles, ID, "Hang on Sloopy" - The McCoy’s, "I can't explain," - The Who, ID into program of 1965 pop and era DJ patter. Good. (Taylor - WI)

Coast-to-Coast AM

6925 AM Coast-to-Coast AM with Art Bell, 2208, 1.1.22. OM talk - can hear few phrases but cannot tell topic. 2224 came up with an ad with 800 number, ad for Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell, another indistinct ad, into more talk … enough to tell it is Art Bell "people have the right to say they should know …" 2239 Signal came up enough to tell Art Bell was talking - fair amount of QSB although generally poor. Also heard: 6925 DSB 1419, 1.2.22. Another Art Bell program. Barely audible, although enough to hear a “Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell” ID at one point. Off mid-sentence at 1430. Had to listen in Dual Sideband due to a squealing center carrier on 6925.0. Poor to very poor. (Taylor - WI)

6925 USB KIPM (rebroadcast) 2115, 1.2.22. Alan Maxwell’s take on the Adam and Eve story, ID sequence, Elkhorn mail drop address, mellow music, into a High Frequency Radio Church program: OM w/ message about God being with us, mail drop address, Alan Maxwell w/ High Frequency Radio Church. Confused man and Alan Maxwell leading him in an absurd prayer, 2138 mellow music, KIPM ID, another High Frequency Electromagnetic Church program, 2153 ID into more KIPM programs. Off 2254. 6930 AM Screaming Man Radio, 2340, 12.31.21. OM, "Ain't talking about love" - Van Halen, "Don't want to live without it" - Public Cruse, "Waiting around to die" - Townes van Zandt, "Sandman" - America, "Think of Laura" - Christopher Cross, … 0020 "An innocent man"- Billy Joel … out of the room and came back to an incoherent screaming by a man into more music. Poor – fair with cyclic QSB. Also heard: 6930 AM 0014, 1.2.21. Rock music, man talking (indistinct), man screaming after barely audible ID. Poor. (Taylor - WI)
