4015/U, 0105-0112+, 12/12; apparently a “lie” music theme; Little White Lies & It is a Sin to Tell a Lie. ID @0110:16. Barely over QRN; waaaaaay below their usual killer sig strength. Per Ken’s log, they obviously got better. (Frodge-MI)

ID, IS, ID, "Nobody Lied" - Marion Harris, "Little white lies," - Ted Wallace and his campus Boys, "It's a sin to tell a lie" - Billie Holliday, ID, "Baby don't you tell me no lies," - June Richmond, "I Gotta Lyin' woman" - Wynona Harris, "Who told you that lie?" - Vaughn Monroe, ID, "Telling Lies" - Fats Domino into a program of "lie" themed songs with ID every 3rd song, brief sketch, 0200 "echo" ID, SSTV (cartoon of a character connected to a lie detector with "Wolverine Radio"), bit of dialogue, off. Wolverine Radio, 4015usb, 12-12-21, 0118utc, tuned in locally and good signal in spite of neighborhood noise, moderate selective fading, various songs with the word "lie" in them, also tried both the Batavia IL and Normal IL sdr's and weak S7 signals at both but still good signal here at home which is unusual, nice selection of tunes, thanks, at 0200 echo ID then SSTV/FAX, excellent program as usual. COASTAL ROCK RADIO

6925 AM Coastal Rock Radio, 2106, 12/10/21. Fading in and out. Fair at peaks. Good peak just before 2200 with “Fade to black,” Victim of love,” ID into more music during a fade. Still going at 0030 when I pulled the plug. Poor. (Taylor-WI)

6925 AM Coastal Rock Radio, 2315, 12/11/21. Tried at 2124 with signal too poor to tell songs or possible ID. 2315: "A thousand miles from nowhere" - Dwight Yoakum, "Illinois" - Dan Fogelberg, "Caught up in You" - 38 Special, "Hotel California," signal dropped out near end of song ~ 2330. 6930 USB Damn Skippy, 2124, 12/11/21. Music, SSTV (test pattern). I was out of the room for a while and came back to a “Damn Skippy” SSTV and more rock. Poor. (Taylor-WI)

CAPTAIN MORGAN SHORTWAVE

6931.4 AM Captain Morgan Shortwave, 2249, 12/12/21. Weak music coming up enough to hear ID into "Rock me all night" - Roy C, "Beautician Blues" - BB King, "You upset me baby" - BB King, "450 pound woman" - Floyd Dixon, “Gimme a pig foot and a bottle of beer" - Kerry Michaels Band, 2305 gone. RADIO GENIX

6950 AM Radio Genix, 2254, 12/11/21. Intermittent carrier, vague music with came up with rock music, 2306 an ID at a peak, then quick fade back into more rock. Mostly poor with periodic fair peaks. (Taylor-WI)

Radio Genix 6950AM 11 December 2021 2300-2315 Rock music including Electric Avenue and Safety Dance. ID at 2306. Stepped away at 2315 and Genix was gone when I returned at 2138. (35343, Hunsicker, PA)

6950 USB 2 Dog Radio, 0024, 12/13/21. Rock music, OM talking briefly (maybe ID) into more rock - just above static floor. Poor. ID from HF Underground. (Taylor-WI)

BALL SMACKER RADIO

6960 AM, Dec 12 at 0253, soft jazz at S7-S9. 0257 ID by YL as ``--- Radio``. These say it`s Ball Smacker Radio: [www.hfunderground.com] gone at 0410 recheck. At 0253 also had JBA carriers on 6925-, 6920, 6885. HFU indicates usual’s 6925 Coastal Rock R, 6920 R. Pushka but nothing on 6885 (Glenn Hauser, OK)

Ball Smacker Radio, 4030am, 12-11-21, 0235utc on Batavia IL sdr, noisy S9 signal, hear slow rock music under the noise, at 0242 increased to S9+10 and hear it better, short UTE QRM at 0243, slowly fading up and down, at 0257 heard ID and bowling ball sound. (Hassig-IL)

6920 AM UnIdentified, 0207, 12/12/21. Somewhat atmospheric music fading in and out … mostly out. Poor. (Taylor-WI)

6924.8 AM UnIdentified, 2200, 12/13/21. Sounds like a Charleston. Drifted down to 6924.6, then 2205 jumped up to 6925.00 with improvement in both signal strength and audio. 2218 Gruff OM talking - can't tell what he is saying … back to rock. Into more atmospheric music. Left for dinner about 2250. Gone when I came back at 2350. (Taylor-WI)
