6925 AM, 11-20-21, 1543-1600 UTC. Music by Glenn Miller, Jimmy Forrest, Pokey LaFarge, Billy Ward & The Dominoes and Dave Brubeck. Off at 1600 with an OM ID and "have a nice day". S9 in central Kentucky. (Gay-KY).

CAPTAIN MORGAN SW

6950.65/U, 0006-0009, 11/22; ID into classic rock ditty. SIO=353- but faded away @0009 (Frodge-MI)

Captain Morgan Shortwave, 6950.8am, 11-21-21, 0012utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, weak S5 signal, heard end of "time passages" followed by short "Twilight Zone" theme, then nothing but background noise, saw carrier drop on waterfall. (Hassig-IL)

6925/AM; 2144-2234+, 11/20; Hard rock, blues, oldy & lotsa classic rock; ID @2156:27 but buried. IS @2233 by syn-W, but caught it this time. Is this what Zeeky would call “crap” music? 4030am, 11-20-21, 0205utc on both Barrington Hills IL and Champaign IL sdr's, S5 on Barrington Hills and S9 on Champaign, barely hear any rock music audio at all. (Hassig-IL)

4030 PIRATE (No. Am.) Ballsmacker Radio, 0206, 11/13/21. End of a Beatles tune, ID, “Sleepwalk” – Santo and Johnny, “I don’t want to miss a thing” – Aerosmith, “Loosing sleep” – John Newman, “All I have to do is dream,” – Everly Brothers into a program of sleep themed songs including “Mr. Sandman.” Fair until it started to fade about 0250. 4050usb, 11-20-21, 2327utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, fair S5 to S7 signal with low noise, hear country-rock tune then DJ said "john Cougar Mellencamp" with song "hurts so good", nice selection of tunes, thanks. (Hassig-IL)

WSPR SOLAR POWERED RADIO

11/21, 0509, 4035am. WSPR Solar Powered Radio. Take Five by Dave Brubeck Quartet. ID "WSPR solar powered radio," at 0512. Dropped to s7 but improved at 0515 with more music, Pokey LaFarge, Something In the Water. ID at 0520, into The Speakeasy Three, When I Get Low I Get High. 0527, Grateful Dead, Fire On the Mountain. Ripple(!) at 0531. ID and off at 0535. s7/s9, very good, nice clean AM sound. (Will-MD)

GOAT HERDER RADIO

11/25, 1533, 6930usb. Zeeky with bluegrass music. Goat Herder Radio ID at 1536. 1542, he says that he has three transmitters on now, one of them named "walrus." Signing off at 1603, off at 1609. Very good, s15 peaks. (Will-MD)

4015 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Wolverine Radio, 0124, 10/14/21. "Put away a little ray of sunshine" - Lewis James, "They can't take that away from me" - Billie Holliday, "Let's get away from it all" Gloria Hart & Raymond Scott, "Don't take my whiskey away from me" - Wyonie Harris, "I'll fly away" - Hank Williams, "Twist'in the night away" - Sam Cooke, ID, "Not fade away" - Rolling Stones into a program of "away" themed songs with ID every 3rd song, (Taylor – WI)

OUTHOUSE RADIO

6930 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Outhouse Radio, 2135, 11/14/21. “Run through the jungle” and other late 60’s early 70’s pop and album rock with SSTV (not set up on that SDR to decode) and eventually Outhouse making a couple of voice ID’s. Series of digital and waterfall images at the end. Poor – fair.

AM

11/24, 1604, 1710am, Unid. Liberty Mutual insurance commercial, a PSA, more commercials. News/political talk at 1615. Joe Namath Medicare commercial at 1625. Poor/fair but steady signal. Gone at 1748 check. Very rare to hear anything in the daytime here on 1710 that's not the Hudson County utility station. (Will-MD)

FM

11/26, 1756, 90.3fm, long-running Frederick MD pirate playing a Chickenman short, followed by a canned station ID, "Great Gold Radio", and into more classic hits by Frankie Vallie and Peter Frampton. First time I've ever heard anything close to an ID on this station after years of monitoring. (Will-MD)
