== North American Shortwave ==

** Ballsmacker Radio

10/2, 0110, 6960am. Hard driving song w/ radio theme, "City of New Orleans," "Summer in the city," 0121 ID, email address, QSL offer, ball hitting pins, "You belong to the city," "Goin' to Kansas City," and on with a program of “city” themed songs. Fair although noisy conditions. (Taylor – Wi.)

** Black Flag Radio (Zeeky)

9/26, 2131, 6925usb. Zeeky rambling and saying goodbyt then off on another ramble talking about QRP radios, 0002 talking about bandwith with annoying echo, changed his mind about going off since band is open, soliciting requests into “Garden Party”, more comments and says goodbye, one more song, off 0020. Fair. (Taylor – Wi.)

** Burry Cookie Hour

10/1, 2332, 5185am. BPop style music, disco, Motown, mellow ballad, 0044 "Honeymooners," ad for "Colon grow" and "Super colon grow" breakfast cereal, pop style music, ballad, other similar songs. Eventually an ID. Received a QSL from Azmuth Coordinator 10/3/21 as Radio Illuminati transmitted the show. Fair. (Taylor – Wi.)

10/2, 0032-0039, 5185am. Love Machine and old pop music. Noisy tonight. (45343, Hunsicker, PA)

** Damn Skippy

10/2, 2342, 6950usb. On Normal IL sdr, fair signal, mournful guitar solo repeated twice, now blues guitar tune, quick SSTV/FAX then blues guitar. (Hassig-IL)

10/2, 2354, 6950usb. Damn Skippy by Outhouse Radio Music was all guitar solos – acoustic blues, rock, hard rock, etc. Ended with the “Star spangled banner” on acoustic guitar SSTV frequently, often interrupting the show SSTV included (racoon with hand in a jar of Skippy peanut butter, “Yes Indeed Outhouse Radio” (one person on the HF Underground chat ID'ed Outhouse after the first SSTV), "Damn Skippy"), skull & crossbones w/ "Damn Skippy"), “Damn Skippy," P-38 in flight), Test pattern with "TEST" in the center w/ "Finished"), off 0042. (Taylor – Wi.)

** L0de Radio

10/2, 0152, 6970usb. Man with rambling talk, hard driving song, sfx, rambling talk again, mainly a beat on synthsiser, announcer calls and asks for Achmed, after a couple of false starts he talks to a YL, taking a request and recommending web SDR's, asking for someone to tell him the frequency he is on, "No sex in the champaign room," announcer talking about Spottify, on phone with OM who is agreeing to all sorts of absurd things and into another ramble, promoting a new Si Fi book he wrote which is out today … Fair. (Taylor – Wi.)

** Mix Radio International

10/3, 0024, 12075am. Program of lite jazz until it got wiped out by a noise blob from our refrigerator. Good until then. (Taylor – Wi.)

10/3, 2127-2207, 6866usb. Soft, instrumental Jazz, later C&W. IDs by a YL. (45554, Hunsicker, PA)

10/4, 0107, 6876usb. Guitar music S9; 0122 DJ with Brit accent says ``Best Smooth Jazz``. 0137 still going. 0150 still VG with jazz piano; 0153 Brit chat spells out LUCAS, ``Smooth Jazz`` as if name of ``station`` if not programme. 0201 Smooth Jazz dedication to some YL for birthday? We hear a few words from her. Accents are so heavy, hard for me to understand despite VG reception, S9+10. Mentions bestsmoothjazz.com and rescued cats. That website exists in London, England, with TV show of Oct 2, this one? And promo next one of Oct 14. These say 6876 is really Mix Radio International, starting at 2133 Oct 2 on 6866, and move to 6876 at 2226: [www.hfunderground.com] Hardly anybody cites ``Best Smooth Jazz``, but MRI says after a comment: ``Quote from: dave524 on Today at 01:53 --- For the wide signal I've found the Digital mode in SDRUno with the 12K width gives the best sound, great sounding show as usual`` ``That`s great because our transmitter is optimized for wideband SDR for best sound. At the same time we will sound good on any radio that is on frequency with our GPS. Thank you for your posts and especially tuning into MRI tonight. Logged Mix`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Radio 48

10/4, 0149, 6930usb. Weak music S3-S4 with fadeouts. Much weaker than the others. Was not hearing this while 6924 was on. These say it`s Radio 48: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Sycko Radio

9/29, 0035, 6935usb. Light electronic music, unintelligable man over music, "Burning down the house," low key rock, SSTV (HF underground spy figure w/ microphone and "Sycko Radio" on partial decode), rock, Sycko talking. (Taylor – Wi.)

** Tall Radio Jethro

10/8, 2329, 6931usb. S7-S9 pirate music, into Maryland SDR; 2338 brief ID? missed and ballad. Several logs here say it`s Tall Radio Jethro (Tull): [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Two Dog Radio

10/4, 0106, 6924usb. Hard rock at S9. 0137 still going but off by 0149 check. A few logs here say Two Dog Radio: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Unid

9/26, 2131, 6925usb. Music, SSTV (skull with hankercheif and crossed swords, more rock, abruptly off at 2140. Poor – fair. (Taylor – Wi.) [was most likely Black Flag Radio (Zeeky) --Lw]

10/1, 2313-2346, 6985am. Rock music that started at 25332 and then became "unusable." Might have been an ID at 2324 by an OM. (Hunsicker, PA)

10/1, 2354-0007, 6935am. Male announcer. Too faint to understand. (Hunsicker, PA)

10/3, 2133-2206, 6985am. Faint music. Then an OM talks about the ionosphere. More music. (Mostly 15441, Hunsicker, PA)

10/4, 2025, 6934usb. Pop music, very good signal. Another song at 2028. Off at 2038 check, no ID heard. (Will-MD)

10/8, 2259, 6925usb. Scales up and down at first on keyboard, jazzed-up classical tunes, 2302 another, direct. Next check at 2327 via remote in MO, no signal, but Maryland has some non-classical music, poor signal. Another report at first as unID: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** WFDR

9/26, 2038, 6935usb. FDR speech from depression, ID off, 2058. Poor. (Taylor – Wi.)

** Wolverine Radio

10/3, 0001, 6930usb. "A little bit more", ""I’ve never asked for more," "More than you know," ID, "I can't give you anything except love", "No more love," into a program of "more" themed songs with ID every 3rd song, "echo" ID, SSTV (hat with "More cowbell" with a cowbell and "Wolverine Radio"), off 2355. Good to very good. Outhouse complimented Wolverine on a good show with: "Yea, we could use some more cowbell", SSTV (" HOWDY WOLVERINE. OUTHOUSE RADIO." With a guy on a hill waving), off. Good. (Taylor – Wi.)

10/3, 0006, 6930usb. On Normal IL sdr, good S9+10 signal, blues tune sung by woman, Dave Mason: "you shouldn't have taken more that you gave", wide variety of tunes with the word "more" in them, echo ID then SSTV/FAX at 0056 1/2 utc, thanks for the nice tunes especially those from the late 1960's. (Hassig-IL)
