THE LOGS

     =+=+=+=+= North American Stations/Relays =+=+=+=+=

BALL SMACKER RADIO:
8/28, 0108, 6960; Playing TV themes with ID every few songs.
Good throughout the evening. (Taylor – WI)

DAMN SKIPPY:
8/28, 0011, 6930/U; Entertaining program of 2 sea shanties or
Irish sea songs followed by an SSTV (blue image with
clouds & sun, imaginary ship with large tower on it,
fighting ship lit in full sail, part of face and eye with
ship reflected over the eye, sea turtle with depression
in the sand, Pirate ships sailing away with “Damn Skippy”
drawing of a pirate flag with skunk peaking from behind
with pole held by a squirrel, ship sailing into the sun-
      set.) (Taylor – WI)

L0DE RADIO:
9/3, 0242, 6969/U; pirate mostly talk with 2 or 3 guys chatting,
rapidly, poorly enunciated & a hard time figuring out what
they are talking about, but F-bombs & S-bombs every few
seconds! Yet one manages a big word, ``neuro-linguistic``.
Maybe a call-in over phones? Bits of wild ``music`` here &
there such as 0249.5. S9+20/30. I wonder if the frequency
choice convey a secret implication? 0303 discussing compu-
ters. 0308 muse about ``trying to get on all SW frequen-
     cies``; eQSL from L0DE@L0DE.com sounds like & 0 = zero,
mentions HF Underground. 0311 disjointed music to 0314.7*
Many reports here as: ``L0de Radio Hour 6969 USB 0113 UTC
     3 September 2021`` [www.hfunderground.com]
     index.php/topic,85862.0.html L0DE.com is a real Not Secure
website, leading to numerous audios of previous broadcasts
of Nov/Dec 2018 tho I`d never heard it nor heard of it
before. Maybe this replayed one of them (Glenn Hauser, OK)

MIX RADIO INT’L;
8/30, 2223-2230+, 6880/U; Classical music selections cut short;
      RoboW ID o/music. SIO=3+53 (Frodge-MI)
8/31, 0040, 6880/U; classical music. ID @0041 with email
      address mix.radio.international@protonmail.com &
“This is mix radio international worldwide." Excellent
      signal, s20. (Will-MD)
8/31, 0148, 6880/U; only pirate activity is here, S9/+10 with
classical music, believe it or not! 0151 ID as Mix Radio
Int’l, more classical. I keep listening in astonishment,
as most pirates avoid classical like the plague. But MRI
after all is ``mixed`` & have broadcast various genres
before. Let us say these are ``popular classics``, war
horses of tuneful recognizability. At 0258 going from
``Deutschland ueber Alles`` to the VVV opening of Beet-
hoven`s Fifth. At 0205 I switch from own rx to remote in
Maryland which is getting it equally well at S9/+10; 0206
another ID but music unseems named. I suspect there be
some repetition before it`s all over, but haven`t kept
track of individual pieces. No announcements at all heard
in final hour to sesquihour, abruptly off at end of final
piece at 0340*. Many other reports here starting at 2214
      August 30, all classical: [www.hfunderground.com]
board/index.php/topic,85786.0.html I am pleased to see
positive comments from other listeners, perhaps encoura-
ging more of this from MRI or others. Some comment on the
wideband audio, but on the KiwiSDR I find plenty of highs,
      sorely lacking in bass response if not bass transmission;
rather tinny; no equalizer? (Glenn Hauser)

NOWHERE RADIO:
8/27, 2357, 6974.9/AM; (probable Nowhere Radio); The now typi-
cal dense rock music segued. Fair-good (Taylor – WI)
8/31, 0037, 6974.9/AM (presumed). Spacey, mellow, ethereal
music. @0111, playing some heavy metal or swamp metal
music. Fair to good signal, s7/s9. (Will-MD)
9/1, 0126, 6974.9/AM; pirate music at S7-S9, much more than
the usual JBA off-frequency carrier from presumed Nowhere
      Radio (Glenn Hauser, OK)

OUTHOUSE RADIO:
8/22, 0140, 6955/U; Rock, Easypal image (didn’t decode,) Set-
ting sun, another Easypal image, pause SSTV (lone wolf
walking on a road “a wise man can always feel alone,”)
into solo guitar. Later ID as Outhouse Radio. Poor
      (Taylor – WI)

RADIO 6:
8/29, 2110, 6925/AM; Tentative ID. Oldies mix, Mamas & the
Papas, "Radio 6" ID @2112, more oldies, How Can I Be
Sure, Sunday Will Never Be the Same. Fair to good
signal, 27-30 dBu. Faded to the noise level but came
back good @2124, with music, Say a Little Prayer For
You. 2127 jingle, then more music, Bee Gees, To Love
Somebody; Tell It Like It Is; Windy; Bobby Vee, Come
      Back When You Grow Up; Linda Ronstadt, Different Drum;
2144, Feelin' Groovy. Repeated Solid gold jingles
@2146 three or four times, then off. Fair to good
      signal. (Will-MD)

RADIO FREE WHATEVER:
8/29, 0130, 6965/U; Was tuning around @0130 on my sony 2010
with rod antenna & heard weak signal, fired up desktop
computer and tuned in on Normal IL & Barrington Hills
      sdr's with noisy S7 signals. (Hassig-IL)

RADIO GENIX:
8/25, 0053, 6950/U; Hard rock, other rock segued, 0105 talk
including an ID into similar music. Poor–fair.
8/27, 2328, 6950/U; on Normal IL sdr, fair/poor S5 to S7 sig-
nal, old 1970's top 40 tune Ballroom Blitz. (Hassig-IL)
8/28, 0001, 6950/U; Ill be there & other pop with an ID
      eventually. Fair (Taylor – WI)
8/29, 0048, 6950/U; on Normal IL sdr, fair S9 signal, song:
Have you ever seen the rain. (Hassig-IL)
8/29, 0107-0144*?, 6950/U w/lots of familiar Pop/rock tunes
like Come On Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners & Rocket
Man by Elton John. ID at :14 as “You are listening to
Radio ?? Shortwave” into House of the Rising Sun; War
Low Rider & Herbie Hancock Rockit. SSTV at :26 into
R.E.M End of the World As W Know It (And I Feel Fine)
& CCR Down on the Corner. Then another SSTV at :34 an
audio ID by roboYL at :36 (this one understandable) &
immediately another SSTV. Then Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla
Ice & Beam vs Cyrus featuring MC Hammer U Can’t Touch
This (That ID is ALL from the Music ID app rather than
my knowledge!) Apparently off at :44 (maybejust got a
      lot weaker?).
      Genix 6945 SSTV.jpg
3+53+43+ with the thunderstorms over the lake making it
      somewhat rough copy.--Zichi MI2
8/29, 0203-0234, 6945/AM w/more pop/rock tunes mostly just at
the noise floor & an SSTV at :04: that if I didn’t know
it was a photo of the Russian woodpecker antenna with
Radio Genix in red below it I don’t think I would have
      been able to see it!
      Genix 6950 SSTV.jpg
even rougher copy here than the USB 5 kHz up was before
      --Zichi MI2
8/29, 2113, 6950/AM; Classic rock mix, House of the Rising Sun,
Beatles, Here Comes the Sun, Elton John, Rocket Man.
29-34 dBu. 2147, music by OMC, How Bizarre. 2154, "You
are listening to Radio Genix". (Will-MD)

9/1, 0126, 6974.9/AM; pirate music at S7-S9, much more than the
usual JBA off-frequency carrier from presumed Nowhere
      Radio (Glenn Hauser, OK)

SYCKO RADIO:
8/29, 0306, 4860/U; Electro-music; Voice ID @0308:30 mentioning
4860 & pondering what to play next; syckoradio@gmail.com
      SIO=4+54- (Frodge-MI)

TRUTH RADIO INTL:
8/23, 0140, 6925/U; Woman talking, R&B, woman with maybe an ad,
another R&B, ID into a man talking. Poor (Taylor – WI)

WTF RADIO:
8/27, 2230, 6926/U; Light rock, perhaps an ID (not comprehen-
sible,) more light rock (80’s style), ID into similar
80’s music as the signal improved. Started poor then
improved to fair. Later switched into FM for a time
which was visible on the SDR scope, but not audible.
      (Taylor – WI)

YEAH MAN RADIO:
9/3, 0030, 6924.78/AM; Peaking S7 here @0030 UTC. As usual,
his carrier is "wobbly." Currently playing some cool
     jazz. (Robins)

YHWH:
9/3, 1454, 11840; I run across the intonations of Josiah,
anti-Christ pirate Station YHWH, but unreadable as S7-S9
equals the high local line noise level I still suffer
from. Seems he is often on 11840 in the mornings. Pre-
viously with good signal into Alberta remote, not checked
     today (Glenn Hauser, OK)

ZEEKY:

howls, clicks, etc.) hard rock solo guitar, 0203 ID over
quiet part of music into more Industrial/dance music.
      Poor-fair. (Taylor – WI)

into dense rock/dance music. Fair-poor (Taylor – WI)
8/26, 0041, 6974.9/AM; (probable Nowhere Radio); Dense rock
      music. Poor (Taylor – WI)
8/27, 2325, 6910/U; on Normal IL sdr, fair S7 to S9 signal,
strange electronic music, actually this is nice music,
@2334 momentary QRM de ute. (Hassig-IL)
