KAT’s Eye Radio, 2353, 7/30/21. Digital signal, Zeeky talking and giving ID’s including asking or reception reports for a QSL, shout out, into Bruce Springsteen. Zeeky freely alters station names. Good. (Taylor – WI)

Foxy AM

6925 AM PIRATE (No. Am.) Foxy AM (T), 0020, 7/29/21. Poor reception – music, man announcer mostly unintelligible except few words here and there including “AM” and “radio” at different points, more music as the lightning QRN slowly overtook the signal. ID from HF Underground. Poor. (Taylor – WI)

6880 AM Foxy AM 0002 - 0003 1 August this was a poor signal just above the noise. It was better in USB than AM

New World Radio

6925 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) New World Radio, 0143, 8/1/21. ID repeated several times by synth man, fanfare then ID and fanfare repeated several times for a couple of minutes into a variety of 60’s pop style music then into other music including Weird Al’s “Girls just want to have lunch,” 0203 ID into woman with art music, 0206 ID and another song, “New World Radio … New World Radio … New World Radio. Is this absolutely necessary?” bluesy rock, ID 0225 starting to fade and gone by 0230. Started out good and slowly deteriorated. (Taylor – WI)

6935 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Radio 48, 0142, 7/26/21. Rock with lots of sound effects, 0147 ID sequence, dance music, ID into rap / house music, ID, punk, ID sequence into many other contemporary forms of music with periodic ID’s. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

8/6, 0028, 6955usb. Radio 48. Music, Porno for Pyros, Pets (remix or mashup). 0035, Sycko Radio ad for Fair Radio with Uncle Bob. 0040, more music. Radio 48 ID at 0044 and into music by The B-52's. Radio 48 ID at 0047, 0058, 0106. Sycko with Radio 48 at proton mail dot com email at 0107. Nine Inch Nails, Head like a Hole (remixed or mashed up) at 0108. Beatles mashup at 0137. Still going with mashups at 0205. Good signal, 30 dBu on the PL-880 and s7 on the R75. (Will-MD)

69520 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Radio Free Whatever, 2358, 7/30/21. End of a song, prepared ID, rock ballad … (then I had to restart my computer and interrupt the SDR) … DJDW announced 602-889-6307 and asked for call in. Into a program of nicely selected Indie music, talk, ID’s, some call INS, shout outs (including to my log on HF Underground.) Good. (Taylor – WI)

6980 PIRATE (No. Am.) Radio Free Whatever, 0115, 8/7/21. DJ Dickweed with talk ending with an ID into Indie rock, canned ID, more similar rock and a program of similar music, talk, ID’s. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

6950 USB Radio Free whatever 0005 - 0150 1 August DJ Dickweed with a long show. ID at 0007. He gave out a telephone for listeners to contact him and be on the air with him. Played a lot of new music, Nervous by Madi Diaz, Holiday by Adult Book and others. He talked about Starlink Internet Service. After 0130, Zeeky (Eye of the Kat) called in and they talked about their stations and shortwave listening. A nice long show. Good Signal (Majewski-CT)

RADIO FREE WHATEVER: 6950/U, 0026-0028+, 8/1; DJ Dick Weed took a phone call from Randolph, Maine; ID’d into the inevitable rock tune. At least he does something besides play tunes. SIO=3+54 (Frodge-MI)

6980-USB, August 6 at 2350 giving out a 302-area code phone number; first thought it was a MARS net, but then for call-ins to R. Free Vatever; DJ muses about forbidden Dungeons &Dragons and plays such music. I did not copy the full phone number and no one else reports it either. 6955 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Galaxy News Radio / Wasteland Radio / Outhouse Radio, 2338, 7/25/21. Tuned into honky tonk music, man talking including several hard to understand ID’s into a series of big band tunes with Galaxy News Radio ID’s, 0004 SSTV (only partly decoded here – over “WLR” “BINGO kandi. Wasteland Radio,”) which morphed into Outhouse Radio, 0042 4 SSTV (Eagle with “Outhouse Radio”; Pirate battle “No rules. No Direction. No” (?); Figure with “Outhouse Radio”; Colin Kappernik and another figure “This is why condom usage is so important.” Off. (Taylor – WI)

6285 PIRATE (No. Am.) X-FM, 0313, 8/8/21. End of rock song, Red hat with shout out to a different Mark describing his location as “somewhere under the stars,” another shout out, ID, mentioned he will be on another hour or so, more chat, e mail, taking reports from e mail, HF Underground or Shortwave Café (?), accurate TC, ID into music, produced ID into program of more music and talk until I pulled the plug about 0330. 6860 PIRATE (No. Am.) Mix Radio International, 0148, 8/7/21. Mellow electronic jazz, 0151 ID mellow instrumental, ID sequence into more mellow electronic music. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

Mix Radio International, 9610usb, 07-31-21, 0028utc on Normal IL sdr, fair/poor signal varying S5 to S9, rock ballad playing, Mix Radio ID at 0033, ID at 0037 followed by Van Halen "you really got me", at 0040 song "refugee", nice selection of rock tunes from 1970's and 1980's, thanks for the show. 6930 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Outhouse Radio, 0128, 8/7/21. Hard rock, SSTV (late start here with “Outhouse Radio” at bottom,) back to hard rock, 0142 Outhouse talks some giving an ID at the end, electric blues, Easypal send (didn’t have it on), off. Fair. (Taylor – WI)

6925 USB Rhino Radio 2355 31 July - 0000 1 August UTC Zeeky was on with different station name. He was talking about shortwave radio and the differences between the two studio he uses. Played Cherry Bomb by John Coguar. Fair/Good Signal (Majewski CT)
