    giving a reading. A performance of Alice in Wonderland.

8/9-10, 2341-0004*, 6030/U; ID from HFU -- if the OM ancr said
    this while I was listening, it was way in the mud & I
    didn’t catch that!) w/jazzy instr’l music that I didn’t
    recognize & with OM announcements inbetween. He mentioned
    ‘track 13’ at one point in the 2356 ancmts, but I couldn’t
    tell what anything was. At :03 the OM announced a frequency
    change, to “4185 kilocycles” & I was recording so I didn’t
    switch! 353+32 --Zichi MI

BALL SMACKER RADIO:

8/5, 0049-0243*, 6960/AM; Carrier popped up @0049 & the Ball
     Smacker opening sequence began @0058. Lots of old rock.
     Title or artist involved “soul.”  Enjoyed the music. SSTV
     in Scottie 2 @0240.

8/5, 0127, 6960/AM; on Brookfield WI sdr with noisy S9-S9+10
     signal, Ballsmacker ID then pop music. (Hassig-IL)

DEMO RADIO:

8/6, 0051, 5050 then 5060/AM; on Barrington Hills IL sdr with
     noisy S5-S7 signal, hear woman singing pop song, suddenly
     hear WRMI came on air with S9-S9=10 signal, saw Demo Radio
     move on waterfall to 5060 with same weak noisy signal,
     woman singing pop tune. (Hassig-IL) 

RADIO AZTECA:

8/5, 0216-0342*, 6935/AM. Carrier appeared without audio @0216
     then the AARS interval signal & Bramm announced himself
     @0219. Program #34, #35 & #36. At the end, the voice of
     the AARS announcer was distorted and unusable. (35342,
     Hunsicker, PA)
8/5, 0230, 6935/AM; All Azteca Relay Service, on Brookfield WI
     sdr with noisy S7-S9 signal, hear male speaking under the
     noise. (Hassig-IL) 
8/6-7, 2356-0124*, 6935/AM. Because of a BC on 6930, I listened
     in USB until 0016 when the other BC ended. The carrier
     appeared at 2356 and the RA theme started @0000. Programs
     #34, #35 & #36.  (35342, Hunsicker, PA)

RADIO EASTERN STAR (p):

8/10, 0642, 6200/AM; BA music presumably R. Eastern Star now
      that he has upped power (Glenn Hauser, OK)

THUNDER CHICKEN RADIO:

8/9-10, 2341-0106*, 6950.02/U (slowly drifting downward @6950
      even by 0040) NO ID until the VERY & of the show!) w/
      pop/rock tunes from Joe Bonamassa’s live album like This
      Train, Mountain Climbing & Drive,among others. “Wingnut”

      Then back to more Joe Bonamassa stuff that I didn’t
      recognize and Shazam had issues with too. At :039 I did
      catch his The Valley Runs Low. “Humpday” SSTV @0100:

      mention that “Thunderchicken could begoing to AM” in the
      near future. Then comedy routine with chicken clucking
      & crowing and then full ID at s/off. 353+32 --Zichi MI

     here in Arizona w/ Drake SW1, long wire  (Barton-AZ)

      stuff. Poor audio & very dull.  3+53+43 rather muddy &
      in the band noise a bit. I only skimmed the recording.
