WDOG, 6925 Lsb, 7-23-23, 0110 utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair S7 to S9+10 signal, sounds like Spanish language rock music, said "WDOG" in English, more Spanish language rock, no tengo fluencia en Español, lo siento, me gusta gatos pero no me gusto perros, at 0153 Morse code that was probably WDOG (I'm not fluent in Morse) then the WDOG jingle and dogs howling then off air. Broad, regular bands of noise marched across the waterfall from lower frequencies to upper ones were annoying. (25343, Hunsicker, PA)

Outhouse Radio

6950 / 6955 USB then 6925 USB Outhouse Radio, 0252, 7.21.23. Noisy signal further impaired by - likely “The Canadian” - jammer who was noodling on a recorder (the instrument) and with sound effects. Outhouse was trying to play a program of music with some SSTV. About 0320 Outhouse sent an SSTV of the back of a Cadillac SUV with a hand giving the finger (probably directed at the jammer) then began to jump between 6950 USB and 6955 USB. About 0340 jumped to 6925, USB then Outhouse talked directly to the jammer and laughed at him. Program would have been a difficult listen even without jamming due to lightning QRN. DJ Dickweed playing Indy music with frequent talk breaks to announce songs, saying hello to HF Underground and shouting out to folks who logged there, and later telling stories about snakes trying to get into his house. Talked of the previous night’s computer failure, which was duplicated at 0118 when it went into automatic repair mode. Dick was not pleased. Peskies were there too, making understanding the BC difficult and certainly affected an SSTV ID in B/W 12 at 0049. A speaker cautioned those who feel that patriotism is a bad thing. 7300.141, July 26 at 0641, JBA talk vs HSNL, maybe English. Nothing listed in Aoki or EiBi, but HFCC shows BULGARIA on 7300 at 0200-0600, 100 kW at 110 degrees. Possibly TOMBS via Sofia, tho not typically so far off-frequency, and rather late to propagate. Nor anything listed anywhere on 7295 or 7305 at this hour. Pirate? (Glenn Hauser, OK).
