** All Azteca Relay Service

7/16, 0248-0434*, 6935am. A carrier with no audio, then the RA theme music and Bram Stoker. Program #27. The audio was muddy. (45441 for muddy audio / distortion, Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 0308, 6935am. All Azteca Relay Service on Traverse City MI sdr with weak noisy S9-S9+20 variable signal, much talking then music at 0310, barely heard male saying "Radio Azteca". (Hassig-IL)

7/16, 0420, 6935- am, slightly on low side. JBA music, only pirate besides 6870-; many reports here as All Azteca Relay Service, 0304-0434* on 6934.968: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

7/16, 2256-0004*, 6935am. A carrier appeared on the waterfall and then the Radio Azteca theme music was heard. It was announced as the fifth anniversary program of Radio Azteca, #27. PSA or O.R.G.A.S.M. Of the recent group of RA broadcasts, which were all afflicted with muddy / distorted audio that made listening unpleasant, this was the outlier with clear, sharp audio. (34443, Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 2327, 6935am. Radio Azteca program, s9 with very good audio. (Will-MD)

7/17, 0043-0107, 6935am. A carrier and the RA theme music began the show. (35343, Hunsicker, PA)

** Ballsmacker Radio

7/15, 0056-0244*, 6960am. First, the Ballsmacker opening sequence, then Hot Rod Lincoln, and an ID at 0107. Rock music with the general theme of heat or hot. 14,000 Hz, maybe more, for the bandwidth. (45454, Hunsicker, PA)

7/15, 0131, 6960am. On Traverse City MI sdr with weak noisy S7-S9 signal, hear rock music under the noise, also tried Barrington Hills IL sdr with same results, T-storms in area, song "hot blooded" playing then "hot child in the city", a program of heat. (Hassig-IL)

** Late Night Lunatics

7/18, 0634, 6869.918am. Never-IDing pirate a regular late-night, S8/S9, music and talk. Lucas Bandura, BC, got an eQSL presumably for a report on some forum such as HFU;
``From: LNL6XXX41SW <lnl6xxx41sw@protonmail.com>
Date: July 16, 2023 at 9:59:41 PM PDT
Subject: EQSL 6869.92
LATE NIGHT LUNATICS 6869.92
What kind of rat bastard psychotic would play that song right now?
Thanks For The Report! July 2023 40W 10K.Colorado`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2200)

** WDOG

7/9, 0158, 6955usb. Barking dogs during some tunes. 454 (Amelar-MI)

** WTF Worldwide

7/9, 0103, 6950usb. ID at 0106. 0123 OM: "Ladies and Gentlemen, and now the Queen of soul", Let It Be-Aretha Franklin. 0145 OM: "Come on Tina, bring it home" She Came In Through the Bathroom Window - Tina Turner. EOT 0149 454 (Amelar-MI)

7/17, 0112-0123, 6955usb. Music started the program and then an OM with a heavy UK accent chatted with another OM with a UK accent. ID at 0116. The operator apologized for walking on a station last week. (35453, Hunsicker, PA)

** Unid

7/15, 0615, 6869.9am. unID pirate once again late-night, vs storm noise level. Only station on band. Two more logs
this date, 0435-0705*: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

7/16, 0435, 6870/AM. Man talking loudly, long string of world beat/reggae music, man with short (unintelligible) announcement at 0508, went into long deep fade. Signal came back up w/ what sounded like radio theater, then country and bluegrass music. Signal way up during bluegrass cut at 0516, then "Lights Went Out In Georgia", then a rap song about police and a lot of "#$%^" (typical for rap). By 0545 we were hearing Johnny Cash. Electronic music at 0620, but I tuned out shortly after due to my earlier time spent in 110+ temps and 3 AM rising. (Hey ops, a few IDs would be nice). Thru the whole thing, I wasn't able to copy the male announcer. Very diverse music styles. Major level of summer static on the channel. Didn't know how to rate, as signal was all over the map from very poor to very good. Logged w/ Drake SW8, Slinky NOTE: Too bad I couldn't catch ID. First pirate in a good while that was other than YHWH! I know a bit about his operation, enough to convince me he won't be on again until this brutal heat wave subsides. He's not far from Death Valley. Like I always say, 50 degrees is much more tolerable in Farenheit than Centigrade! (Barton-AZ)

7/16, 0646, 6869.916am, unID pirate with novelty song, S9/+10 as measured now; earlier also at 0419 same level with country/rock song. More logs this date, never any IDs: [www.hfunderground.com] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

7/14, 2322-0002*, 6935am. A carrier appeared at 2322 only 5 to 10 dB above the noise. There was faint music at 2353 as the carrier went 15 dB above the noise. BC ended abruptly at 0002. (Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 0300-0354*, 6950usb. In progress with a faint male vocal. Never rose above “unusable.” Three SSTV images in PD50 at 0327, 0334, and 0349; all pretty rough due to a weak signal and noise. (Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 0312, 6950usb. On Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair-poor S5-S7 signal, spoof song. (Hassig-IL)

7/17, 0043-0046*, 6955usb. “Beauty, beauty, beauty,” over music to start and gone, potted down, at 0046. (Hunsicker, PA)

** Mix Radio International / Radio 48

7/16, 0011-0359*, 6965usb. Broadcast in progress with bouncy pop music. ID for MRI at 0034, immediately followed by an ID for Radio 48. The remainder of the show, until sign-off, was Radio 48. Radio 48 email address. 14,000 Hz bandwidth. (55555, Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 0100, 6865usb. Radio 48 via MRI, 0100 on Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair S7-S9 signal, various blues tunes, at 0115 some very risque songs, at 0145 a song played backwards, at 0249 beatles "I want to hold your hand" in German. (Hassig-IL)

** Radio Free Whatever

7/16, 2210-0041, 6955usb. In progress with some music and then Dick getting the Windows blue screen of death due to an update. Wandered away for about 5 minutes while his computer updated and rebooted. Asked other operators not to take-over the frequency. 4000 Hz seemed to fit. Not sure if it was over at 0041 or faded away. (35343, Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 2328, 6955usb. Radio Free Whatever with pop music. solid s9, very good signal. (Will-MD)

** Radio Ronin Shortwave

7/16, 2301-0011*, 6930am. Due to Radio Azteca on 6935, I used LSB to hear Radio Ronin. There were weak Peskies on 6930LSB too, but LSB was better than AM. Music with a far eastern feel, then an ID for RR and heavy metal music. 3000 Hz fit. (35353, Hunsicker, PA)

7/16, 2313, 6930am. Rock music, very good signal, some storm noise. Radio Ronin Shortwave ID at 2317 and into Pink by Aerosmith. s9. (Will-MD)

** Radio Vostochnaya Zvezda

7/15, 0630, 6200am. JBA carrier, now assumed pirate R. Vostochnaya Zvezda, ex-7400v (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Thunder Chicken Radio

7/16, 2344-0105*, 6950usb. The program started at 2344 but was faint and often “unusable.” Thunderboomers didn’t help. We are asked to vote for Uncle Bob in 2024. Nifty waterfall image at 0015 and SSTV images in Robot 72 at 0039 and 0101. Closed with a Ghost Chickens in the Sky and a Thunder Chicken promo. (35343, Hunsicker, PA)

** WAVE Radio

7/15, 0004-0035*, 6925usb. Opened with what sounded like the WDOG “Shut up” sequence, then a rock song at 0008 and sounds of thunder and an ID by a YL. She spelled WAVE phonetically. Rock music. Host advised that she was “Sarah.” 4000 Hz sounded best. (35443, Hunsicker, PA)

** WDOG

7/17, 0010-0110*, 6880am. A carrier appeared at 0010 and music and a barking dog were heard at 0012. ID at 0056. Shut up closing sequence. Sounded good at 10,000 bandwidth. (35343, Hunsicker, PA)

** Wolverine Radio

7/16, 0009, 6950usb. On Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair S7-S9 signal, old big band 78 "what is this thing called love", Blondie "call me", song "London calling", various songs with the words call or called or calling in them, thanks for the nice tunes, at 0057 SSTV/FAX then off. (Hassig-IL)

7/16, 0012-0059*, 6950usb. In progress with Big Band Jazz and then Bluegrass. Then 60’s British pop / rock. SSTV in Scottie 1 at 0057. 4000 Hz was good. (55454, Hunsicker, PA)

** YHWH

7/21, 0320, 7475am. In progress at tune-in, some familiar material. As usual, modulation way below what it should be considering signal strength. Modulation dropped way out at 0355, but started to be audible again at 0401, stronger with contact info at 0408, "Good night, folks", and off at 0409 (Barton-AZ)
