** Ballsmacker Radio

6/24, 0056-0250*, 6960am. The regularly scheduled program. A great signal that was regularly affected by bursts of noise. One came during the closing SSTV image at 2248. Bandwidth was 10,000 Hz. (55444, Hunsicker, PA)

6/24, 0114, 6960am. On Brookfield WI sdr with noisy S9+10 signal, song "killing me softly with her love". (Hassig-IL)

** Radio Azteca

6/24, 0324-0508*, 6935am. First, the carrier, then drums at 0326. Marathon #6 from the Radio Azteca Relay Service included programs 16, 17, and 18. 7000 Hz was best. BC ended at 0506 and the carrier was gone at 0508. (45343, Hunsicker, PA)

** Radio 48

6/24, 2315-2355+, 6866usb. Radio 48 w/lots of classic ‘60s stuff like ‘Innagoddadavitta” (or however you spell that!) “Magic Carpet Ride” and “Runaway”. Strange ‘echo’ tx that may have been an ID at :18 and again at :23 when there was a joke ad about ‘tractor pull announcer’s disease’ and then an intelligible ID as “Radio 48”. 45444 2315-2355+ 24/Jun SDRuno +SDRplay +randomwire --Zichi MI2

6/24, 2341, 6866usb. Radio 48 via Mix Radio International, on Traverse City MI sdr with fair S9+10 signal, song "in my midnight confessions", at 2348 utc switched to Barrington Hills IL, Johnny Cash "ring of fire", at 2353 switched to Brookfield WI sdr, song "little runaway", at 2357 "pinball wizard", Thanks for the tunes. At 0005 moved to 6960usb for Wolverine. (Hassig-IL)

** Radio Static

6/24, 0011-0027*, 6960usb. Broadcast in progress with faint and unusable music. There was an unusable ID by an OM at 0024. SSTVs in Scottie 2 at 0013 (unusable) and 0024 (the ID). (unusable, Hunsicker, PA)

** Sycko Radio

6/24, 0223, 6925am. On Brookfield WI sdr with weak noisy S9 signal, hear what sounds like punk rock with somebody yelling a song, at 0229 utc read names of posters on HFU including me. (Hassig-IL)

** Unid

6/24, 0217-0326, 6925am. Faint music with the carrier about 17 dB above the noise. The entire program was unusable. Carrier dropped out in the range of 0249 and 0250. (Hunsicker, PA)

6/28, 0643, 7400. JBA carrier, suspect pirate R. Vostochnaya Zvezda with his few watts or whatever he`s calling it tonight (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** Wolverine Radio

6/24, *2357-0103*, 6960usb. A couple of ‘tones’ and the “Testing 1-2-3” “Interval signal” and ID at s/on :58. The usual mix of ‘older’ to newer music ‘with a theme’ that is actually pretty interesting stuff. Today’s music theme was “Lovers” and included (Jackie Wilson) “A Woman, a Lover, a Friend“; (Pat Benatar) “I Need a Lover”; (Roxy Music) “Lover” and “Lovers Will” (John Hart). And the ‘end’ SSTV was people kissing while standing in a river: 4+54+4+4+ *2357-0103* 24-25/Jun SDRuno +SDRplay +randomwire +Multimode Mac for SSTV --Zichi MI2

6/25, 0005, 6960usb. On brookfield WI sdr with S9+10 signal and some static from approaching storms, old song "when your lover has gone", various songs with the word "love" or "lover" in them, at 0018 switched to Barrington Hills IL sdr with better signal and less static, at 0021 J. Airplane "plastic fantastic lover", nice program, thanks, at 0101 echo ID then SSTV/FAX. (Hassig-IL)

** WRKO

6/29, 0252-0523*, 6935am. The carrier appeared at 0252 without audio. There was music at 0258. The BC was a recording of an old afternoon WRKO broadcast. The BC was roughly synchronized with UTC: The OM DJ gave the time as 0305 when it was 0302UTC. Distortion and atmospheric noise made listening unpleasant and, overall, it wandered from unusable to just usable all evening. After 0329, I checked in from time to time. The music ended and the carrier was gone at 0523. (Mostly unusable, Hunsicker, PA)
