CAPTAIN MORGAN SW:
5/6, 0005-0028*, 6950.5/AM; as mentioned on Facebook feed,
but I never got anything close to an ID or even an
announcement in the mush. Lots of non-descript rock music.
WEAK, 2+5332 fading to downright unreadable at times.
--Zichi MI2
5/6, 0018, 6950.2/AM; Listening to a just audible signal for
about 10 min. with probable blues music & a not under-
standable talk breaks when signal came up with a woman
announcer with an ID, “Twilight Zone” theme into more
blues for several minutes when the signal settled back
just above the static floor. (Taylor – Wi)
DOG HOUSE RADIO:
4/30, 0056-0125*, 6925/U; Began with hard Rock, then SSTV in
Scottie 2. Non-profane invective & gongs at the end.
(25342, Hunsicker, PA)
Dog HouseA.png
4/30, 0124-0145, 6930/U; Started before the 0056 BC ended.
Diving airplane with gunfire, odd electronic noises &
more airplane noises. There is a persistent carrier on
6931 & associated het, which a 20 Hz notch made irrele-
vant. Rock music, too. SSTV in Robot 36. 3000 Hz worked.
(25342, Hunsicker, PA)
Dog HouseB.png
4/30, 0148,0158, 6935/U; Program & music started @0148 but
were unusable due to a weak signal. SSTV in Robot 24
@0156 It faded @0158. (25342, Hunsicker, PA)

5/7, 0200, 6935/U; Blue - Isaev, loop of clip. A measure of
declining notes, "Goat F***er Radio" - repeated ad nau-
seum. Fair signal declining to poor as evening went on.
The reference is to Zeeky who was ranting on 6937 USB
at the same time. (Taylor – Wi)
LIME in the COCONUT RADIO:

Maan. Conditions improved during the broadcast. Old Rock
from the Police Closes with Swing Low Sweet Chariot.
3000 Hz fit. (45344, Hunsicker, PA)
MYSTERY SCIENCE RADIO:

@2333 then repeating music & Night Train. Cherokee Jack
Perkins gave an ID. An eclectic mix of music. Clip from
The Dead Talk Back. 2800 Hz fit. (35454, Hunsicker, PA)
RADIO FREE OZ:
4/30, 1316-1359*, 6925/AM; A new one for me, I think. Big on
electroshock. Deep Fried Munchkins seemed to cause a
revolt in the Emerald City. 8000 Hz fit best. A parody
production of The Fox & Sick Puppy Productions. (35343,
Hunsicker, PA)
RADIO FREE WHATEVER:
5/5, 2341, 6950/U; Good Time/Hard time - Teleman, Prepared
ID, We could start a war - Somebody's Child, DJDW giving
shout outs to HFU, ID, Undone and Unashamed - The Mur-
locks, into a program of well chosen songs, prepared IDs
& talk breaks including shout lots to folks who logged
him on HF Underground (including me). Music included Oh
No - Iguana Death Cult, Savior Mode - Balance & Composure
& Orbit - Dream Wife. @0117 a jammer started with rhyth-
mic tones, then nonsense talk & back to tones, sweeps,
etc. over RFW. DJDW continued with jammer interfering
from time to time. Continued until after 0300. RFW was
good until the QRM started, fair after. (Taylor – Wi)
5/6, 0005-0032*, 6964.99/U w/rock music of w/o context or
structure. Announcements at :14 by DJ Dickweed including
ID into Crab Park (Attaboy) etc. @0124 DJ D. talking
about losing his internet speculating that maybe Starlink
is pushing an update, then Deadline which he had on the
computer already, and @0129 after that song DJDW came
back to say ‘no internet means no show’ & saying ‘he’s
not a responsible DJ’ so off at :32. 3+54+4+4 in well.
--Zichi MI
5/6, 0021, 6965/U; Light rock, prepared ID, Pre-Code Holly-
wood - Johathan Bree, prepared ID, Selfish - King Nut,
DJDW announcing last 2 songs, ID, Rid of me - Nilufer
Yanya, ID. I tuned away at this point due to tough
listening conditions with marginal signal strength &
significant QRN from lightning storms Southwest of here.
(Taylor – Wi)
5/9, 2244-2342*, 6950/U; In progress @2244. On as a public
service showing how poor propagation was that evening.
Later, Dick agreed that propagation was okay. Indy music.
My favorite for the evening: Life is so Fucking Dumb.
4000 Hz was a good fit. (45353, Hunsicker, PA)
RADIO VIXEN INT’L;
5/6, 0042, 6933/U; Everybody Knows - Concrete Blonds, Heart
like a wheel - Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Op talks about
this being the 1st anniversary show for the passing of
Al Fansome. ID, Answer - Sarah McLachian, off. Fair.
(Taylor – Wi)
5/6, *0100-0150*, 6935/U (REALLY hard to understand that name.
I had to play the recording at :05 over & over to get it!)
& I wouldn’t venture to guess the gender of the announcer.
It wasn’t obvious. On with Don’t Fear the Reaper (Blue
Oyster Cult) & ID at :05. Into more nondescript rock music,
only some of which I recognized, like Ball & Chain (Social
Distortion). Much clearer ID at :18 into (Tracey Ullman)
They Don’t Know. I always forget she was a singer & I
think she should have gotten more credit for her role in
bringing the Simpsons to TV! Also played a (Tommy Tutone)
tune I didn’t know Dancing Girl. How about putting these
tunes into some sort of context or at least announcing
names and artists? I can put Spotify on shuffle too guys!
Another ID at & dedication to the memory of Al Fansome
(again, hard to understand. Quit mumbling! It was not the
audio quality or bad reception.) w/’goodnight & God speed’
w/(Sarah McLachlan) Answer. VERY nice sounding wideband
signal; opened up to 7 kHz bandwidth & it was stellar
4554+4+ --Zichi MI
THUNDER CHICKEN RADIO:
4/28-29, 2301-0106*, 6950/U; Seemed to begin @2301 with elec-
tronic tones. Except for SSTV images, the BC was mostly
unusable until 0015 when the strength increased. Five
SSTV images, all in Martin 1. Good at 3000 Hz. Closed
with an ID then clucking chickens. (35453, Hunsicker, PA)
Thunder ChickenA.png
4/30, 1137-1329; Never an ID, but there was an SSTV of the
Thunder Chicken. Wandered between unusable & just usable.
Rock music. Signal weak & unreliable & SSTV images
restarted spontaneously. (25242, at best, Hunsicker, PA)
Thunder ChickenB.png
5/2-3, 2213-0020*, 6950/U; In honor of Gordon Lightfoot, plays
his music. At least 5 SSTV images. (25342, Hunsicker, PA)
WOLVERINE RADIO:
4/30-5/1, 2357-0103*, 6950/U; Opened with “Testing, 1, 2, 3,
can anybody hear me,” then an ID & some Dixieland music.
Changed to Rock at about 0021. Closed with an SSTV image
in Scottie 1. Good at 4000 Hz. (55454, Hunsicker, PA)
Wolv.jpg
YHWH:
5/12, 0412, 7475/AM. Lecture in progress at my tune-in with
usual op, Josiah, usual rant. "All religions have
utterly failed mankind", closing Ann, "I love you....
Good night, folks" & off @0430. Good (Barton-AZ)
UNIDs:
4/30, 0301-0322*, 6950/U; Buzzing, music, an odd voice &
“Pirate radio, no rules, no directive, no protocol.”
Lotsa Blues. Ended mid-song. (25342, Hunsicker, PA)
5/10, 2203-2214+, 6950/U; Yet another music only and no
ID station; novelty, polkas & rock. S7 with severe wind
warble QRM/N (Frodge-MI)
5/11, 1536-1545*, 9360; Muddy/distorted pop music, tunes cut
short. No candidates EiBi/Aoki; pirate?, test? Heard
similar on 12035 recently. (Frodge-MI)
