       rock/pop music generally heard, 0206 signal came up with
       I fought the law & the law won, ID w/bowling pin strike
       sfx, familiar pop song (can't think of it's name &
       Shazam can't ID). Gone @0213. Signal very poor to poor.
       Reported on 4030 AM as well. Nothing here on that

11/19, 0216, 4030/AM; on Travers City MI sdr with fair/poor S9
       to S9+15 signal, song Saturday night, C&W tune Fightin'
       side of me, Ballsmacker ID, song: Eye of the tiger, @0228
       fair S9+20, @0235 Rolling Stones: Street fighting man,
       @0243 Kung foo fighting, apparently a fighting theme
       program, also tuned in @0245 on Tustin MI sdr with same
       signal strength, @0254 Hit me with your best shot, @0301

BLACK SWAN RADIO INT’L:

11/22, 2212, 6925/U; Spacey pop dance music. ID @2217 "Black Swan
       Radio Int’”. Occasional short breaks in the audio feed.
       2226, ID & “Your only choice for world class music". Audio
       suddenly cut in mid-song at 2233, a few seconds later, new
       song started. 2245 “We are concluding transmission in the
       41 meter band" & back into music. 2251 “You have tuned to
       swan, a world class media service." & "concluding trans-
       mission" announcement again. Off @2259. Very good signal,

11/22, 2224-2227+, 6925/U; Dance music; “You’re listening to
       Black Swan Radio Int’l, your only choice for world class
       music” by familiar-sounding robolady (MRI?) SIO=454.

11/22, 2253, 6925/U; Lush contemporary dance music, abruptly off,
       2 beeps, break, resumed w/ new song same genre, ID "Don't
       miss out on Black Swan Int’l Radio", vocal w/similar genre,
       2300 break. Fair (Taylor – WI)
11/24, 0040, 6925/U; Mellow music by J-ones & Juice World with
       many pauses & brief starts of music, ID @0044, pause,
       start of Only the Young by Journey then off for good.
       There was also Weiner Radio reported out East although
       not audible here, so Black Swan apparently went off to
       make room for Weiner. (Taylor – WI)
11/25, 1525, 6925/U; Upbeat dance/prog/techno music, abruptly
       cut shortly after tune in, audio cutting out occasionally
       for a few seconds. Robot ID @1529 repeated twice, "This
       is Swan. We are broadcasting in the 43 meter band for
       western Europe". 1533, ID "This is Black Swan" mixed with
       music. At 1552, robot message, "We are now redirecting to
       the 31 meter band, nine thousand three hundred fifty five
       kilohertz". 1612, "You have tuned to Swan" and "closing
       the 43 meter band" announcement, says tune to 9355.

       S9 to S9+10 signal, slightly distorted audio, old CBS
       news article about DB Cooper, unid music, @0016 switched
       to Champaign IL sdr with weak S3 signal, @0018 switched
       to Peoria IL sdr with weak S7 signal then stn left air.

11/20, 1606, 6925/AM; Smooth jazz music. ID @1614 & off.
       Very good signal & sound with occasional deep fades,

MIX RADIO INT’L:

11/19, 0013-0042, 6875/U; Replay of Andrew Yoder’s “Hobby Broad-
       casting” program from last night’s “Radio Angela” (WBCQ)
       broadcast. Talking with Brian Penny, NASWA Pirate colum-
       nist & long time pirate listener about paper QSL’s, cur-
       rent conditions & stations, Halloween this year, etc.
       Program concluded with contact information, Mix R.I. ID,
       bit of music and off @0042. Fair to good signal. Thanks

       noise signal and wideband with vestigial lower SB, con-

       Jean, Roadhouse Blues, Bee Gees, AC/DC, etc. ID’s over &
       between songs. Poor–fair in noisy conditions (Taylor – WI)
11/21, 0211, 6925/U; Number of digital signals over music (? If
       jamming), Sycko went off. 0256 back with a Sugar Sugar mix
       for several minutes then a repeated ID sequence, on a
       break. 3 Stooges sounds. 0306 Spanish guitar with a man
       singing started, however band was going long and it

       by the Temptations. ID, “Your thanks for nothing day show"
       into In A Gadda Da Vida. 1715, Do It Again by Steely Dan.
       1721, “Your thanks for nothing day show" into Night Moves
       by Bob Seger. ID again @1726 into pop music. British m-
       robot voice, "Are you having pea soup & johnny cakes for
       no thanks day?" @1734 into more pop music. Pea soup liner

THUNDER CHICKEN RADIO:

11/19, 2056, 6920/U; on Champaign IL sdr with weak but clear S5
       signal, heavy metal tune Running with the devil, amother
       heavy metal tune about a woman, various Van Halen tunes in
       concert, @2140 switched to Peoria IL sdr with fair/poor S5
       to S7 signal, more heavy metal, @2143 SSTV/FAX, @2147 Van
       Halen Ain't talking 'bout love, at a weak noisy S5 to S7,
       @2152 switched to Traverse City MI sdr with better S9 to
       S9+10 signal, Van Halen Running with the devil in concert,
       @2159 SSTV/FAX. (Hassig-IL)

11/24, 1813, 6925.2/AM; WBOG ID into the WKRP Thanksgiving show,
       "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
       Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie @1838. Fair to good

11/20, 2214, 6960/U; Music, Hold On Loosely by 38 Special. 2219
       WHIZ ID & WHIZ-TV spot. Voice comms underneath. Off @2226
       check, revealing MARS voice comms on 6961usb that mention
       the "interference" from the pirate. Solid s9 (Will-MD)

WTF RADIO:

11/19, 0146, 4030/U; Very poor signal initially with only organ
       audible from music, came up to barely audible guitar
       heavy music & came up again for an ID which started over
       music "Wiskey Tango Foxtrot Radio", repeated, off.

WWWW:

11/20, 0014, 6925/U; Just barely audible rock music & periodic
       indistinct OM talk, until 0036 when signal came up with
       clear ID, rock song, ID, Having a cigar - Pink Floyd.
       I had to leave at this point.  Poor–fair when left.

       Whisky” heard @:42, :47 & :53 but it was too distorted to
       make out what else the OM was saying; the music sounded

       I heard We Are Young (fun, Featuring Janelle Monáe), Have
       a Cigar (Pink Floyd) & Ridin’ The Storm Out (REO Speed-

       key-gobbling, mixture of music, talk & gobbling. 2323
       more of same, S9; 2346 recheck now with a strange drama
       with a witchy voice hard to understand, SFX, mysterious
       music, past 2400, leftover from H`we`en? Others report

       or so. Gone by 1630, maybe they cooked the turkey? Nope,
       it's back at 1741. Still gobbling @1929 check. 1930 added
       some Charlie Brown/Peanuts-style piano music to go with
       the gobbles. 1936, The Thanksgiving Song by Ben Rector
       with occasional gobbles. Merry Christmas by the Ramones
       @1938. No more gobbles after that. Fair to good signal,
       s5/s7. @2304 check, the gobbles are back, this time at a

       creeping through. The hfu posters ID this one as DB

       pirate band to 7- MHz, but I seldom hear one & this is
       way late out of prime time. Zero recent reports of any-
