"Wildfire" piano IS, ID, "What's up?" - 4 non-blondes, "Stood up" - Ricky Nelson, ID, "Tangled up in Blue" - Bob Dylan, "All shook up" into a program of "up" themed songs w/ frequent ID's and e-QSL offers. Ball Smacker Radio, 6960am, 8-13-22, 0100 utc on Brookfield WI sdr with fair S9 to S9+15 signal, heard piano IS and ID announcement then slow song sung by woman, at 0112 Elvis Presley "all shook up", various songs with word "up" in them, at 0131 Everly Brothers "wake up little Suzie", at 0200 utc also tried Normal IL and Barrington Hills IL sdr's but they were much weaker, same with St. Michel des Saints QC sdr, nice program, thanks, at 0230 SSTV/FAX, sign off announcement, piano IS then off air. 6917 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Corn Desert Outpost, 0042, 8/13/22. Unclear rock just above the static floor from tune in. Suddenly came up to a good signal about 0045 with Jethro Tull. On with several Jethro Tull tunes and a couple of SSTV images (second was a sunset with pine trees) and waterfall (grouchy old man). I was out of the room when the broadcast ended. Fair. Corn Desert Outpost 6917USB 13 August 2022 0010--0111* Best @ 3000 Hz. SSTV at 0012, 0034, 0049, 0059, 0059, and 0109. Although the signal, overall, was "Good," the SSTV images didn't fare well and, except for a crawling eye with tentacles, were unusable. (45444, Hunsicker, PA)

DJ Dickweed announcing the next song by Ellie Vator, start song, canned ID, "Motels" - Royal Otis, DJDW talks about the music, gives ID's and starts "Come Apart" – Fazerdaze into a program of carefully programmed music, taking calls at one point then having trouble hearing the phone will fans in the hot bunker, monitoring the music, etc. Many ID’s, shout outs to folks who logged him in HF Underground, general talk. SYCKO RADIO

6950 USB, 6930 USB, 6925 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Sycko Radio - trimulcast, 0310 – 0409, 8/14/22. Sycko with a relay he knew about on 6930, then a volunteer to trimulcast him on 6925. First caught him on 6925U and took a while to realize it was // on all three frequencies, thanks to the HF Underground chat. This log is a compilation of going between the three frequencies: OM telling a story over drumming, then into drumming alone with Asian sound then into long dance set ("robot 8 reporting" … backup" over track), Sycko talking about signal changing several times - "6925, 6930, 6950 "that's quite a whopping there" back to music, OM brief talk, drumming w/ periodic whistling, OM monologue about genetically modified plants, ... bit of story into dance music., looped section, different tune, bit of emphatic talk under music from time to time - mentioning Barak Obama ... "ha ha ha. I love it" looped, more rant about Obama, mashup of several songs including Beatles, "I love rock n roll"; new mashup; Sycko on w/ ID, confirmed frequencies, talked a bit about doing the broadcast; several mashups, long section of "I am the greatest DJ in the world. ... You ain’t crazy. … I'm a human radio station." off 0409. 6925 USB continued after Sycko s/off. 6950 USB, good; 6930 USB, fair to good; 6925 USB, fair. (Taylor – WI)

6930/U HFU claims this was Sycko Radio, and that there was an ID at 0303. I didn’t hear one then, but I did hear “SOS” which was mentioned in that log. I’m gonna say this was a ‘shaggy dog’ pirate, ID was an 'afterthought'. SOS was the CW sent at 0259. But at 0352, after a LONG stretch of nothing but music, there was a WBCQ Singing ID, and then some laughing and OM saying “that was the wrong ID” and then “Sycko Radio” ID, but mentioning “on 6950 and 6930 and I don’t know 6925.” All three of those frequencies were in use, but not //. At any rate, the start of this ‘shaggy dog’ story of a broadcast was starting out with odd, spacey, “environmental” music Music ID didn’t know. At 0256, a SSTV: (Yeah, this is ‘Rorschach-y’ at best!) and then more ‘ethereal music’ and CW as noted above at 0259 and then more non-descript instrumentals. WWWW THE DRUNK FOX

6925/U WWWW “The Drunk Fox” but at about that time while I did hear THREE W’s voiced by an OM at: 11 (NOT: 12 as in HFU) I didn’t hear much else including nothing about foxes, sober or drunk. But FINALLY did hear just that ID at 0103:35. Mostly music and no talk, including “Diary of Horace Wimp” (ELO), “Sultans of Swing” (Dire Straits), “Telephone Line” (ELO), “Sharp Dressed Man” (ZZ Top), “Riders On The Storm” (The Doors), and “Rock The Casbah (The Clash). Still there at 0200 recheck, with another playing of “Riders on the Storm” and then brief ‘dead air’ and (ELO) “Last Train to London”, and more rock. 2+4+3+32+ occasional brief ‘whistle-y’ QRM but brief. SPAM RADIO

6925AM 14 August 2022 1938-2108 and carrier gone by 2114 Lots of chatter between Spam Barkley and an OM. Many ID's. Gives the Minnesota drop address. Music now and again. 7000Hz seemed to cover the signal. Became unusable after 1958. (35433 to unusable, Hunsicker, PA)

8/14, 2014, 6925am. Guitar rock music, very good signal, 30 dBu on the Tecsun. Two hosts give "Spam Radio" ID, followed by a bit from the Monty Python Spam skit. At 2017, creepy Halloween music, ID "Blood Lust Radio", music by Ozzy Osborne. 2031, ID with "Sick Puppy Productions", and into Warren Zevon, Werewolves of London. 2035, don’t Fear the Reaper; 2038, more Black Sabbath; 2043, Twilight Zone theme and ID; 2045 Rockwell, Somebody's Watching Me; 2048, more Black Sabbath; 2050, more Ozzy; 2057, necrophilia bit; 2059 INXS, Devil Inside; 2108, another ID and off at 2110. 6925 and 6920 (back a forth between the two) 17 August 2022 2325-2355 Although a "Good" signal, there was a programmed bubbling/chirping noise in the background that I found really annoying and I stopped listening because of it. The signal's envelope slowly changed, from 3000Hz to 4800. Clips from the Terminator franchise. Rock music. (35444, Hunsicker, PA)

6925 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Unidentified, 2346, 8/13/22. Segued music – I was distracted with other things until 2358 then "Need her love" - ELO, "The diary of Horace Wimp" - ELO, distracted with family again, 0019 "Do it again" - Steely Dan, "Sultans of swing" - Dire Straits, old style phone ring, "hello", "Telephone line" - ELO, "Street Fighting Man" - Rolling Stones, "Spirit in the sky" - Norman Greenbaum. 6925 USB PIRATE (No. Am.) Unidentified (perhaps Clever Name Radio), 0410, 8/14/22. Had been relaying Sycko Radio on his trimulcast. Different program started after Sycko signed off. YL synth voiced with ID ... maybe Clever Name Radio's hard to understand ID? ID, SSTV ("United States of Fucked” with human figure leaning over an outline of the U.S. and "2024 Election" with a seal of some sort just outside the outline), another ID, SSTV (brown figure - not clear - Roman numerals for 2025?). Immediately after SSTV ended, "Yea, yea, yea,?? Radio" into nice contemplative flute piece, another ID over piece, SSTV - poor decode (3 figures with "MMR" - maybe more letters), hard rock, SSTV - poor decode (Alien head?), 0435 off. Poor in strong QRN. Between the synth YL and poor conditions was never able to understand the ID. (Taylor – WI)

6925 USB 8/15 0207 UTC tuned in to big signal with weird music, almost band and jazz, abruptly off at 0211, then back in and out with weak signal most of the time. Checked HF Underground and others heard it but no ID. Please ID and QSL to martinfoltz@cox.net. (Martin Foltz, Sarasota FL)
