That's a good philosophy John. I was cured many many years ago of wanting to be the firstest with the bestest. Late 70s - $1200 - Betamax.

Yes, that was the going price in those early days of that now obsolete technology. And what makes it smart even worse is knowing that with inflation over the years, that $1200 had about the same spending power as $5000 has today. By the time CD players came around I knew I'd be better off dealing with cassettes for a couple more years.

Also you show good sense to require every space waster in your life to justify its existence. That's something I'm just starting to grapple with here in sunny Radiojunktown USA...
