Right, it would be out of the way of those beacons and others that crowd the ISM frequencies. The limit seems low, but amazing things have been done at low power, sliver bandwidths and very slow data rates.

Isn't there an ISM band between CB channels? That might allow higher power in this general range of frequencies.
