I've already MOD'ed one portable to a BNC connector, for connection to EXT ANT's. It does overload on the Windom, but does pull-on those AM HAM's better on 3885kHz and 7290kHz. Next, I want to replace those tedious <> push buttons with Rotary Encoders from All Electronics. That should make adjusting the volume and tuning much better, and faster.
