It seems like that dude's on a roll, coming up with designs for items radio people can use, and he doesn't just stop at making one thing. I hope that one day he could form a company, because we've lost a lot of the old line kit companies like Heath and Ramsey, so we need something new out there.

I can see your approach to audio processing, the pros actually use something similar in broadcasting at least, it might start with something like an AGC, followed by an EQ, then a compressor, then a limiter, or other combinations, which is the way stations would get to their individual sounds on the air.

I think some podcasts don't always use de-esser units, and my theory is that's because digital has more headroom, and they don't notice it as much, where radio has pre-emphasis, and so has reduced high frequency headroom, so S-sounds can clip easier.
