After yrs of only occasional DXing, I've been quite busy this winter with the hobby but need to take it to another level.
The difficulty of separating some of the signals on the same frequency is much greater than 30 yrs ago, too many stations now. All I'm using is my radio's ferrite bar and an S-A-T, no ant input jack. I built a loop antenna decades ago when I got into the hobby, nothing special, barely worked, but want to try using a loop again.
There are tons of loop antenna designs on the Web now. Comparing them w/o tech knowledge, which I see many of you have, makes it a bit harder to choose a design. I want to place it on the kitchen table which is near a window. Limit its width to no bigger than ~24" so I can place a couple of radios on the table along with a notepad and maybe still actually have some room to use the table for meals. Any input is appreciated.
