570 WSPZ (ESPN) (owned by the Washington Redskins) Washington,D.C. has an unusual number of technical glitches with their automation, especially at night. They are 5,000-watt day and 1,000-watt at night. I've heard just a loud audio hum (but no WWV) and then automation tones that don't start the next event many times. It appears that when they go from live in afternoon drive to automation at night something doesn't sync and it could go all night and not be fixed.
