Re: Another WHAS tower maintenance outage tonight midnight EDT

My previous experience with one of these is that they are off & on several times throughout.

WHAS went off abruptly at 04:17:20 leaving two SS stations competing.

840 WHAS Louisville (xmtr near Boston) KY: 0345-0417:20*,
7/28; “News Radio 8-40 WHAS Louisville”; Mark Levin
Show who ran part of a North Korean b’cast on 6400
kHz (EiBi lists PBA Pyongyang Pansong) & mentioned
numbers stations; 0354:30 ran anmt about going off
the air at midnight; ABC News @0400:23 & local news
@0402:30 including WLKY (TV) weather; 0406:30 Ground
Zero with Clyde Lewis who ran Russian “919” b’cast
& talked about numbers stations. WHAS plupulled
abruptly @0417:20 leaving two SS stations competing;
one SS talk & one “musica Latina”. WHAS had S30
peaks. WHAS still off @0508 when I bailed.
