Re: The sun is becoming active again?

I've noticed MW a bit strange but 11m is sometimes w-i-d-e open, sometimes for hours at a time.

I was listening to 38L one day and I could tell the skip went long - and then heard a station in southern UK briefly before the skip shifted again. Yesterday I heard Montana, Northern Idaho, Bakersfield (CA), and several western Canadian provinces. Also the loud Jamaicans, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. All heard on my HR2600 and Dood's old 1/2-wave groundplane at 30-feet.

This is mostly around mid-day. It usually drops out for a while later in the day and sometimes comes back somewhat at night. Hasn't been this good for a few years, but it's very unstable.
