That's an oldie, it almost looks abandoned! I think I found that page before in searches, and maybe thought to join, but didn't know what to make of zero activity.
Maybe when they got LPFM rolling, there just weren't enough hands on deck to keep up with AM efforts. Once they got LPFM, a lot of work then went into getting stations on the air.
A problem, the preferred device for most things, the smart phone, may have an FM receiver, but not AM.
