The noise levels have been very high on 4 MHz this season so far, maybe ops will start using it again after the summer. A few are going up above WBCQ 5130 these days.

Will music only ops ever ID?

Will crappy sounding low bandwidth slopbucket broadcasters ever upgrade to AM? Don't they realize how awful music usually sounds in USB?

I would love to hear some pirates use the regular shortwave broadcast bands. I'm mystified that free radio broadcasts in 7300-7800 are non-existent. What about 15010-15100? Why not 9500-9800 in the daytime where domestic broadcasters are so rare there?
