That's like 1520 from Buffalo NY, big signal here at times and the stereo light is on at all times, but with a lot of what they do being sports talk, I don't know how much stereo does for them, though some receivers might widen their bandwidths in mono.

I try to hear separation in the commercials, that would be the place, and I think I hear it, but then propagation effects make it hard to hear, on the first generation chip that was sensitive to platform motion of the audio sound stage. I'd have to see what a better chip can do.

I think there is more of a case for C-QUAM stereo right now in the many AMs who acquired a translator and now play music for an FM audience. Those seem to be independent operations, and could use C-QUAM without paying fees, and as an older tech it should be cheaper than HD.
