In my travels last weekend I visited a museum lighthouse. Really interesting. The light keepers quarters were kept as it was at the turn of the century. In the living room was this old radio. I took a couple photos to share. There was a large speaker attached by wire that sat on the floor and a really interesting open air wound "box" antenna that sat on top of it.
Anyone of you old radio connoisseurs have info to add on this gem?

“XXXXXXX, antennas, guns and XXXXX.
Sometimes in interesting combinations.”
