I've been down there, it was back in the 1990s, and saw their studio gear, and they had a separate rack with a Compeller in it and some other boxes, but I didn't see the transmitter. I'm thinking since they're carrier current, the transmitter is probably in the power room.

It could be LPB, since they've been on the air since the 1960s. I've heard the station in the streets, it seems to cover about a square mile, and on a good day it can be heard across the river, they told me, not sure how far, but I think it's a mile or less. Yes, they have had DXers stop in and visit the station, but I'm not sure if they give out QSLs. Does anyone give out QSLs these days?
