Wolverine Radio, 6935usb, 4-4-21, 0003utc, 6935, fair/good sig at my location, heard "testing 1 2 3 can anybody hear me", at 0005 swing tune from 1930's or 40's, variety of tunes with the word "stop" in them, at 0024 "stop in the name of love" by the Supremes, also tried kiwi sdr's in Dixon IL and Normal IL and good signal there too, at 0101 echo ID then SSTV/FAX. 6960 AM PIRATE (No. Am.) Ballsmacker Radio, 0101, 4/3/21. Indistinct song which came up during “Don’t get fooled again,” “Why do fools fall in love?” ID and faded back down again into unfamiliar song. Maybe “fools” theme? Almost inaudible at troughs, fair at peaks. (Taylor – WI)

6960AM 4/3/21 064 -0219 Ball Smacker Radio heard their broadcast here in Alberta, with ID’s and very well produced program. (Kusalik-ALBERTA)

Ball Smacker Radio 6960-AM, UT Sat April 3 at 0200-0204+, rock music S9/+10, probably Ball Smacker Radio which is scheduled Friday nights from 9 pm ET = 0100. I check out another pirate on 6930, then back to this at 0217 when music is quiet, some deep fades; 0225 YL, ``from some wires strung up in the trees, Ball Smacker Radio``, and tenpins SFX. More rock music I don`t recognize. 0233 plug for their new website; off before 0245 recheck. Many more logs here: [www.hfunderground.com] Keyword for song titles tonight was: ``fool``. 6970-AM, April 8 at 0546, JBA nothing but talk, sounds like a real station. Search for //s: not TOMBS on WRMI or WWCR; not any of my 3 Enid locals 960, 1390, 1640. No big 7 MHz signals which could leapfrog here. 6970 does not compute as any MW harmonic either. I notice that 6970 happens to be 2 x 3485, where Gander VOLMET is, but USB of course and not // either. It`s S9 but so is the local noise level, so mostly unreadable.

At 0600 fades up a bit, 0603 with anti-Biden talk, denouncing ``far left`` so I bet it`s Fox News Channel TV audio. YES, I soon match it to FNC on cable 48 here, a few seconds ahead of that during Sean Hannity repeat. [BTW, our Sudden link office was closed down yesterday for state tax violations!] Also occasional machine-gun rat-a-tat-tat QRM, utility I assume, tho the paranoid might conclude it be jamming.

Later I check HF Underground and find NO logs of it tonight as there is hardly any pirate activity or DXing this late at night; but FNC has been reported several times before on 6970, in full daytime, most recently January 26 at 1755 UT.6970 not heard 24 hours later (Glenn Hauser, OK)
