5/19, 1800-1900, 90.3fm. The long running classic pop music station is still active in southern Frederick, Maryland, with the strongest signal in the Ballanger Creek/Buckeystown Pike area. Signal faded out traveling south on Maryland 355 towards Urbana, but appeared again south and east or Urbana, around 8-10 miles from the Ballanger Creek area. I noticed this before and thought that this might be two stations, but now I think it's the same pirate, as the signal peaked around the "Urbana Highlands" development. The station runs a jukebox of classic hits from the 1960s to the present with full quieting between songs. Today's fare featured My Maria by Brooks and Dunn, Spill the Wine by War, Love Machine by The Miracles, and a wide variety of music. Signal variable, fair to very good.
