Brief sporadic E opening this morning just after noon local time. There were massive pile-ups on most nearly-clear channels lower than 103.5 here, and some stations breaking through adjacent channel digi noise from the locals. After about 12:30pm local time, the band returned to normal and shortly thereafter, fair to good tropo conditions reappeared with FM stations up to 200 miles starting to come in.

90.3 KEDM Monroe, Louisiana, 1519 UTC Sunday, August 5, 2018. Very good signal with NPR-ish talk show, mixing with another station doing religious apologetics. ID "90 point 3 KEDM."
92.9 KMRX Marlin, Texas, 1525 UTC, Sunday, August 5, 2018. Country/americana music show "Sunday Morning Coming Down," commercial for a furniture business called "Buckshot Rustic" in Whitney, commercial for "Fun Time RV" "nine locations across Texas and Oklahoma." ID "Shooter FM." Very good signal for several minutes.
