As someone who "cut the cord" several years ago, I'd say I would hate for broadcast TV to go away. I cancelled my cable 5 years ago, put up a roof mounted HD antenna with a pre amp and flipped off my cable company. saved $70/month. Still have internet though them though. Between broadcast TV ( I get 10 channels or so, along with the sub channels. Prob 25 channels in all although there iby Ragnar - General radio discussion
In my travels last weekend I visited a museum lighthouse. Really interesting. The light keepers quarters were kept as it was at the turn of the century. In the living room was this old radio. I took a couple photos to share. There was a large speaker attached by wire that sat on the floor and a really interesting open air wound "box" antenna that sat on top of it.
