Great to be back in here Bram. Nice hearing from you too, man. Speaking of hearing things, I hear a relay of Radio Garbanzo now on the same frequency of 6935 USB on the same transmitter at 2150 UTC as I post this.by CaptainGanja - Free Radio Logs
I got WREC with a live broadcast booming in on 6935 USB on the Westminster, MD SDR at 2100 UTC plus. SIO 544+. Just heard "A Pirate's Life" and hearing something about the cloud now. OM PJ Sparx is doing a great job. Jah mon!by CaptainGanja - Free Radio Logs
Yup, I think PJ Sparx shoulda gotten in the HOF for all the relays he did of studio pirates in the 90s, besides his great work with his own WREC programming. If it weren't for people like PJ and all the others that relayed my shows, my own stuff woulda been barely heard as I only transmitted a little over three years myself off and on but was not very good at it as I am not very skilled technicalby CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Yup, Fearless, keeping in shape is a lot more fookin' work as I've gotten older. Oh I do slip up and indulge in my old bad habits once in awhile like a slohb, but now I have to double up on those good habits to fix myself back again, damn it PMLOL! Now as for Global 24, maybe they could try working out a deal with Allan Weiner and buy a bunch of airtime on WBCQ. I bet they could get a way betby CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Most awesome, Ragnar! :) Pfffffffffffffff... aaaaaaaaaaah... yeah mannnnnnnnnnn!by CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Rave On Radio on 6925 USB from 2250 to 2304 UTC mx: Joe Cocker "With A Little Help From My Friends", ID and shout outs to several listeners, etc. SIO:222.by CaptainGanja - Free Radio Logs
Listening here as well on a secret slohb web radio thingie on 6880 AM. Just heard JB belt out "Rockin' Around Zeller's Tentec" around 0030 UTC on 12/25/2014. Been listening at least a half hour, but failed to note the exact time I tuned in. Oh man.. hearing "Wolfish Got Run Over By George Zeller" at 0037 and I am PMLOLing bigtime. BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Very good signal and audby CaptainGanja - Free Radio Logs
Excellent show last night, Fearless! I really liked the tunage and dug the other stuff too. I'll be tuned in again for sure, man. This toke is for you, man: Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft! 73 & 32 meters!by CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
I wouldn't worry about even the most profane of your shows, Fearless. Any of your programming would be airable on WBCQ whether it is the newer cleaner stuff or those funny as hell "profane" shows you used to do back in the day. Your shows were always favorites of mine and I do hope to hear something of yours on 5110 if you decide to go for it. That would fookin' rule! 73!by CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Cool little radio, Pat. I am impressed. The Maharishi wants them to send him their receivers at once. PMLOL! ;)by CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
I agree with you Bram. I guess I should also stop being so lazy and say more here too. Kind of at a loss for words at the moment so how about a nice twisted Ganja-graphic for now. PMLOL! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!by CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Just run the mouse pointer across the text options at the top of the message box area about ten tiny squares over and you should see a little message balloon that reads "Insert image URL" and left click on that. Then a prompt box pops up and you insert the image URL in the blank area. It's pretty self-explainatory from there. Here's a sample of one of my QSL designs to show ya how eaby CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Impressive to the fookin' max! Wow! The Maharishi wants that transmitter sent to him immediately... along with all of their money and harem women of course, naturally. PMLOL! ;)by CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Yup, Fearless, it's getting time to finally dust off the mics and open up Adobe Audition 1.5 for twisted fun in games here in the studio. The Maharishi Hashishi Ali Ganja told me I'd better listen to him and get back on the radio so his ear torture singing can be heard again by the severely punished masses. What a voice! Great for peeling paint and scaring away wild animals I suppose. Fookin' PMLby CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Been busy being lazy here I guess. It took me close to a month to reply on this thread so there's your fookin' proof. LOL! Anyway I'm still out here listening to them funny bands when I can and I am also thinking of finally getting off my lazy old hippie ass and putting together some new shows for the funny bands. I guess I'll also try to make more of an effort to put my protopipe down long eby CaptainGanja - General radio discussion
Heard it here last night too via my Icom R75 and indoor Rat Shack reel-up shortwave radio antenna. Signal was fair, yet very steady slightly above noise level. I caught it part way during the Jay Smilkstein interview, then switched to listening to the rest of the broadcast with a couple other slohbs on Global Tuners. Signal was practically SIO:555 there the way JB was pounding in. Great hearing tby CaptainGanja - Free Radio Logs
