What you got there, Paddy me bhoy, is a nice little tuner for about 22MHz through a couple of GHz. I use a number of them for various purposes. Makes a nice standalone spectrum display, ADS-B radar receiver and a slew of other stuff. You'll have a lot of fun playing with it.
Whatever you do,
DO NOT install the software that comes with it. That'll screw things up nicely if you do.
If you're looking to cover HF you'll need an upconverter - look on eBay for Ham It Up upconverter or just plain hf upconverter
Also, looks interesting although I haven't played with one, look at Soft66RTL on there as well.
I'm gonna wait for the Soft666RTL myself, I'm told it's devilishly good.
Is it me, or is there a distinct lack of Halloween stations thus far?
Sincerely,
Worried in Maine.
