Neat update, it really is cost effective, considering I paid over $200 for my DX-440 Radio Shack back then, and now this is something so far advanced, for much less money, especially considering inflation since then.

It would be cool if they could make it a transceiver by adding a transmit module, like QRP or SSB at 10 watts, adding a mic jack, with a more powerful battery. You could get SSB at 10 watts pretty easily with newer RF devices.
