That looks nice, so modern, and 10 watts, and on the CB band? Well the shorter antenna would make it work like less, so I can see how the extra transmit power would give it some more oomph.

If it was for a to-go bag, I'd hope they'd have nice cases for it, remember when handi-talkies had those black leather cases with all the right cutouts for the radio's functions?

Another think, how about a pair of talkies on 13.560 ISM band at regulation field strength and with good receivers? Might be good for short range, no interference.
