Had some time and very quiet conditions today, so I tuned 1710 kHz a little after 2300Z. Originally I heard a weak voice but around 2320 the NJ TIS came in strongly with NOAA weather. Then I heard another voice underneath and by about 2332 the YL from the Springfield (MA) Armory took over the channel with public service announcements.

Now (0040Z) I'm hearing the 9/11 Crash Site Memorial TIS about even with NJ.

No sign of the mystery music station, but it's considerably early...

America needs a sense of humor...
