Cool, it shows there still is something interesting on the AM band these days.. :) I look for music, and always seem to find it on Canadian and ethnic stations, and a few doing Gold formats like 690 from Fisher, WV. I've been searching more since many AM stations got FM translators, with the intention of being FM music stations, meaning those AMs are now playing music again.

I've wondered how many pirates are still on the AM band? It used to be pretty common, relatively speaking. I mean the more local stations that used to be within the actual band.

I've heard low power stations all along, T.I.S., and Part-15s like school stations, drive-in theaters, carrier current, and these days 3 meter antenna stations seem to be pretty popular.

Bowwow!
