Re: unID - 7610AM, 04/24, 1945+

On again today, Sunday, 24 April, 1945+. Just announced 30 to 35 watts and seems quite strong for the power and the time of day; signal is pretty stable at S9+.

More talk at 1955, discussing how he runs the station from a laptop. ID as Red Beacon Radio at 1957 UTC.

M ancr sounds like he's from NYC or NJ area, or possibly around Boston.

Another clear ID at 2001Z and talk about NVIS and why John Sedlacek couldn't hear him in Omaha this early.

About 2045 ancr said he had to run some errands but would turn down the xmtr to 5 watts and leave it running while he was gone. Not much of a signal change here in WNY; still about a S9 with a few fades. Wonder if he forgot to reduce power?

America needs a sense of humor...
