I see you mentioned the AKG K240 and I wonder how you view it (subjective, I know) for radio DX use? Voice versus music.

I rarely listen to music anymore but have found that selecting the right headphone for the music you are listening to is the key, no one set of cans does it all.

I like my ancient Sony MDR-A22's for almost everything but know it's time to upgrade, perhaps buy 2, 3, 4, 5 or more new ones, maybe sell any that I don't like for cheap. I like the over the head and earbud A22 style (don't know what's available anymore) and probably will go that route for portability.

However I found Amazon has a seller of the K240, 55 ohms, for $67.79, cheaper than eBay, very unusual as I almost always find Amazon way too expensive. These would be the newer, made in Communist China cans, hopefully they are as good as the older ones. Any comment on can selection?
