EDIT: looking at a previous log for Thunder Chicken Radio, I now believe it's that station, since this one was "Bouncing off the ionosphere" also.

Christmas classics updated to guitar and bass instrumentals.

23:10 Just for SDR listeners, station name spelled out as a graphic on the waterfall, "..nic-tonight" with the left part of it apparently cut off.

23:19 Oh Little Town Of Bethleham.

23:22 Carol Of The Bells on easy guitar and keyboard.

23:26 Deck The Halls on electric guitar.

23:30 " .. bouncing off the ionosphere, you're tuned to ??????? ?????? Radio"

Off.

Not much going on in the 6900 range at all, band is pretty dead, so this station really stood out. That kind of music comes through well on sideband. The text graphics displayed on the SDR waterfall sounded like typical digital shortwave data transmissions. I suspect that the first letter or letters of the graphic message were cut off due to the high pass filters that are used on most sideband transmitters.

Using my new eBay cheapie active antenna that I had to repair, straight out of the factory, bad QC, but it seems to be working well enough, better in some ways than the old large loop.

Thanks dude, and Merry Christmas!
